Sleepless night!

Sadly I have to say that this Ibis is the worst I have ever stayed in - and never again - it will always be the other Cesson Ibis where we have always had excellent service. The major problem was the sleepless night because the toilet syphon was leaking into the toilet pan and every 5/10 minutes the toilet was refilling as the ball tap had fallen to a top up level. When I compained at the desk the following morning the manager immediately siad "was this every 5 to 10 mnutes", which indicated to me that they were fully aware of the problem and we should not have been put into that room. No offer of a partial refund of the charges was made and I was very annoyed at their attitude when I came to pay the bill. The desk staff did not appear to know what they were doing on the computer, which slowed our departure.. Also normally there are two water glasses in sanitised covers in the bathroom. There was only one glass and this was not in a sanitised cover - so do not know if it was a left over from the previous occupant and indeed was clean to use! There were only two towels - no small towels. We also needed to leave our luggage at the reception at about 10.00 am as the car was due at a local garage for service. The luggage was left in the hallway near to reception, but the computer I insisted should be placed in the managers office for safe-keeping as anyone could have picked it up in the hallway and stolen it. Thiste manager did thankfully.

Great team, wonderful welcome, and cool to see the whole Hotel (and restaurant) having lunch at 11:30 each day (still). Highly recommend this location given the proximity of some restaurants and with secure parking as needed.
