Hotel far from being in Paris. Dirty, small, ugly rooms. Dirty walls and ceilings, poorly made bed, bad towels. Parking costs € 16 a night, also dirty and full of garbage and abandoned cars. Rats everywhere. I always stay at the Ibis and this was the worst hotel I stayed at! Escape this hotel!

No frills but ok for this princess!!

SJDutts Friends getaway - TripAdvisor review

My friends know I like a ‘nice’ hotel and I moaned for months previous to our weekend away that I wouldn’t be getting my Carrie Bradshaw moment in Paris at this hotel, not at this price anyway!! My friend had booked it and I was dreading it. We were a group of 7 girls on a weekend trip. We knew the hotel was a metro ride from Paris centre. We had researched the metro station, literally a 2 minute walk away. Safe enough all walking together. Upon arrival the hotel was quite pleasing. The lobby is modernly refurbished, the staff were pleasant enough. Safety deposit boxes are available behind the reception desk, at no added cost. We had 3 rooms booked, all were next door to each other, always a bonus. We got into the lift to go up to our rooms. When the lift doors open on our level you do feel as if you’ve gone back in time 20 years and slightly mislead by entrance decor, the hallway walls and carpet need modernising. The room itself was so small, so small it was hilariously funny, but they have made great use of the tiny space. There was a rail to hang clothes on, but unfortunately no clothes hangers, so we used the shelf’s in the ‘hallway’. We were literally there to get dressed in and sleep in. Most importantly, the bed and pillows were of a good standard, had 2 good nights sleep. The bedroom, bathroom and bedding were all clean. There was a hairdryer in the bathroom and body wash/shampoo provided. I have to say there was a real lack of plug sockets, it took us 5 minutes to find one, behind the curtain of course! And no where near a mirror, which made styling our hair for a nights out interesting! For the price it did the job and the price even included breakfast. Cereals, pastries, cakes, boiled eggs, toast yoghurt and a range of drinks, tea, coffee, juices. Something for everyone.

Good hotel not in Paris

Hotel is place at the end of the subway line. The room are clean but quite small. Breakfast was good. Hotel used for tour operator. If you are interested in visit paris could be good but you have to include the subway.

All the basics you need to feel comfortable.

I wasn't expecting much when reading previous reviews, but was pleasantly surprised with the hotel. It had a bar and the rooms were at least clean and somewhat comfortable. They are not huge, but they did the job. The breakfast was reasonable also.

€160.....Really!

I stayed at the Ibis before a return trip to New York. What an eye opener....;New York Prices......Flea bag standards and all for the bargain price of €160. The room was no bigger than an average dressing room, the standard was definitely not up to an 'International hotel group' (Accor) and 'La piece de resistance' was the chewing gum stuck to the wall which seemed to have been overlooked by the cleaning staff? All in all an experience to be forgotten quickly. Sayonara Ibis Porte De Bagnolet, you will never see me again;
