We upgraded to presidential suite and although it was much bigger it didn’t have an extra room and the pillows were shockingly bad. The bed was massive and comfortable. The breakfast didn’t have much variety and lots of things were not being replaced but the food was very tasty.

The Grand Mercure was the perfect place to finish out the end of our 2 week vacation in Brazil. The room was spacious and clean. The beds were very comfortable and the shower nice and hot. It was located within walking distance of Parque Ibirapuera where we spent a portion of both days that we were in Sao Paulo. The only issue that we ran into was that the hotel restaurants are closed on Sunday night.

For clarification, on Sundays our Aquarelle Restaurant operates from 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. for breakfast and 12:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. for lunch, while the Sena Bar is open from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m..
