Dear Ms. M., Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We are delighted that your family enjoyed the comfort of the room, our breakfast and the little touches such as the reusable water bottles — and that our big bear was a hit with your children! We understand your comment regarding the limited dining options within walking distance in the evening, particularly on a Saturday. This is indeed something to bear in mind when planning a stopover with a family. We are pleased that Novotel Rennes Alma was a comfortable stop on your journey, and we hope to welcome you and your family again on your next trip. Samuel RICHEZ - Directeur

Stayed here as a stop-over for a long journey. The family room was very comfortable. The rooms were clean and I liked the reusable bottles of water. Breakfast was great. The location was good, although things around the hotel close early. It was near impossible to go out for dinner walking distance from the hotel after 8pm on a Saturday night. My children aged 6 & 5 loved the big bear in the dining area.

Stayed for 2 nights to look at Rennes. Great hotel. Very comfortable. Offers a good breakfast. Evening meal good but not much choice. Nearby shopping mall excellent for cafes and hyper market. Rennes itself not really a destination. Use this hotel for a travel stop over. Plenty of parking.

This is our usual overnight stop option en route further south. Due to boat timings we don't arrive until around 22.45 but we enjoy our short stay nevertheless. The hotel provides accommodation and public areas at a consistently high standard and staff are always friendly and helpful.

I have been staying in Accor chain hotels for more than two years for all my reservations in France and across Europe, and you can check my status and my booking history. I would like to highlight that the staff at Novotel Alma were very welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. Unfortunately, this is the first time — at Novotel Alma — that I have experienced several issues during my stay. I had to wait more than 20 minutes for my room to be ready at check‑in, even though it was already after 14:00. I was also charged additional fees for my flip‑flops and bathrobe, which has never happened in any other Accor hotel. For two days, there were no coffee capsules, no clean cups, and no hand soap in the room, even though the room service staff passed by on a daily basis. I had to call the reception to request a bottle of hand soap. On the first night, I could not find a parking space for my car, even though I had paid for parking for the entire stay to ensure availability. The water drainage in the bathroom was not functioning properly, and I had to call a technician to fix the issue — something that should normally be checked regularly to ensure rooms are ready for guests.
