Very nice hotel at the top of a rolling hill looking down onto the Amboise chateau, out of town a bit in the middle of a corn field. You would need vehicle. This was a very nice modern, roomy hotel with an elevator. We even got a welcome drink on arrival. Pool, playground and tennis courts. Beds were comfy and the breakfast very nice the next morning. Lovely place. Would recommend.

A perfect stop over point if driving north/south. Preferably more spacious than staying in central Amboise but with the magnificent view of the town (from the pool). Highly recommend. Easy 7min drive into Amboise with ample parking. Best of both worlds.

We enjoyed staying in this nice hotel on a stopover. Staff were great but we were a bit frustrated that the front desk staff did not have details of our evening meal when we were checking out, slightly delaying our departure. The views from the hotel are wonderful and Amboise is a lovely wee town.
