We've stayed here before and the location can't be beat. It's an easy drive to CDG airport but it is also well located for visiting the local area including the Van Gogh venues in Auvers-sur-Oise. There are always horses and often their riders because of the equestrian center, plenty of parking, a pool and lovely park. We weren't impressed with the restaurant but there are plenty of places to eat nearby. The hotel staff is excellent and the rooms are lovely.

Stayed for one night, but it was a nice experience. Very unusual hotel (in my experience), but one that was very nicely executed.

Our stay was a series of small frustrations: No one to greet us when we entered the lobby., were not sure where to go. No check-in counter. Only one bottle of water in a room for 2 people. No cups in the room, not even paper or plastic. The room was too hot, no A/C working, no coffee or tea in the room for the hot water. The pool was nice but the pool cover was not completely open and access to the pool meant crossing through the lobby in a bathing suit. For dinner, the hotel restaurant had a concept "Market"...where we were to choose our meat and cook it ourselves on an outside bbq...after a long day of travel, this was not at all what we wanted. We would have prefered room service...except there was none!

Hi Wonderful location Nice staff Great help from Yanis and swtlana - there was no vegitarien food snd restaurant artound were closed but this 2 persons give us all help they can.truly appreciate and on same time I would request hotel authority to look in to introduced few vegetarian dishes (pizza,pasta,salads etc). Power lost in the room A few time.

Booked for 3 nights. 2nd night my wife wake me up early after a late night out saying that there is no power. As I am the only one speaking French then I had to get up and go to the reception. The power lost happen a few time. The technician said that there is sitting wrong in the kitchen which is link to this room. I had a bad day that day as I was sleepy and tired all day. Then they came out with another story saying that my extension lead was doing this. I ask to sleep in a different room and still had my extension lead plugged in and nothing happen about loosing the power. In my return to UK I had the extension lead checked and nothing was wrong with it. I think that i should be entitle to a free stay in your group. Thanks

Quiet but remote. Liked the efforts to serve local products at breakfast. Not 4-star quality in room decoration, furnishings, or staff. A client was at buffet several times without mask, speaking over the food trays. Meanwhile, every other client and staff wore masks. Staff did not notice or were not concerned: we ended up intervening ourselves, insisting that this client wear a mask when not seated at his table. Staff later told us this client had already been told several times... Why wasn’t he banned from restaurant and even from the hotel? If he causes COVID-19 infection, the entire hotel would get shut down. As it is, hotel created many unhappy clients because of their desire to appease one uncooperative client. Disappointing and dangerous.

Hotel was in an amazing location but a bit shabby - OK overall. The biggest issue was that there was only pizza to eat and they even ran out of beer on tap whilst I was there.

We had an enjoyable 3 night stay at the Chateau de Maffliers. The staff are very friendly and our two rooms well-equipped and very clean. The hotel is well situated for Chantilly Castle, Parc Asterix, and, of course, Paris. The castle itself is currently undergoing renovations, but this wasn't a problem for us. We didn't use the swimming pool or restaurant so I can't comment on these. The bar has a pool table which could do with restoring. There are attractive seating areas outside as well as table tennis, badminton and petanque, so plenty of activities to occupy the children. Breakfast was okay, though it was a bit strange that the scrambled eggs were cold each morning. Overall an enjoyable stay.

The Quilting T Friends getaway - 24/05/2019 TripAdvisor review

It may have been my fault that I got the wrong impression, but when I booked I thought we would be staying in the Chateau proper, especially as I booked a room with views of the park ( extra charge I believe ). We did get a room with a view of the park but it was in an accommodation block a short distance away from the 'chateau' which meant in the evening we were obliged to walk there through the rain ( umbrellas provided ) have dinner, and return there for breakfast also ( not raining ). The accommodation itself was on the lower ground floor ( floor 5. You go in at floor 3 as the ground at the back drops away ). Standard Novotel room. Well and easily furnished; very comfortable bed, good linen and towels; generous supply of soaps et al, all housed in a beautiful chateau park location ( with cuckoos and birdsong continuously - a fox dashing by the bedroom window. Very bucolic. Lovely :) The meal was quite good - over at the chateau, after we dried ourselves off, but however no-one asked how the meal was during the whole time we were there; the orders was taken, the plates were delivered and taken, but no one came and asked if everything was to our liking. Indeed. my friend had to summon the waiter to asked if the lamb could be cooked further as it was too pink ( not a problem in my book ). Meanwhile however, the staff lavished all their attention on a table of 3 women, drunk, noisy and vulgar, who distracted from the enjoyment of our meal. The staff must have checked on them 10 times to see how they were, so we seemed to be inconsequential somehow. The breakfast buffet was good, somewhat understaffed, but all in all, what we had hoped for - even fresh apricots! The bad part was that the hotel reception was under redevelopment, which I know must go on someday, but even the staff there had dust masks around their necks. It was pretty dreadful, and the clouds of dust on Saturday morning due to the sanding down of plaster and paintwork was awful. We couldn't get out fast enough. I hope that the work progresses to the hallways below as they looked dated and tired whilst the rooms were quite lovely. However, I enjoyed the accommodation, the beautiful setting, the food was good at both dinner and breakfast, but I feel as though we just slotted into their average day and didn't feel they were really that bothered that we were there or not. So a bit of a mixed bag. I still like Novotels though, and I would nonetheless readily return to this one :)

It was probably a nice hotel in 90sIt is old and extremely unpleasant Rooms are terribly dated. Carpets, sofa and chairs are very badly stained. Price is very highI would clearly not recommend this hotelThere is no good reason for staying there

Upgraded to a spacious suite with a large comfortable bed and a sofa bed for the kids. Large bathroom with shower and another separate w/c. Great buffet breakfast with a large selection. Though not convinced the restaurant is operated by Accor Hotels so not reflected in ratings, comment needs to be made - the food was good though portions a little small, very slow service, and constantly buzzed by flies.

We have stayed at this Hotel a few times. Friendly Staff. Good Location Good Food but limited menu Peaceful setting for families and Business people. A perfect hotel for travelers who do not want to drive into the centre of Paris.

What a stench!

The smell of sewerage is present everywhere in the hotel! The carpets are dirty, soap not replaced if finished ( I had to beg for some shower gel at the front desk!) nor was the Nescafe in the room. What a pity as the park is beautiful!
