Initially placed in a room with a very noisy metal bed frame, they couldn’t fix it. Moved me to a room on level one by the street, told it could be noisy and if a problem to return the following day to see if could be moved as hotel was full on my first night. The room was moved to smelt of sewage, had mosquitoes, hair all over the floors and bathroom. I stayed one night as instructed and returned to the reception desk the following day. Was told no problem we will speak to manager and move room. Came back early afternoon to be told my room was the original room they had given me and I had no alternative choice. Manager(have his name if required) junior was very threatening and aggressive. Witnessed by reception stated “you cannot move rooms everyday you choose it’s room 306 or 101) I said excuse me but I was advised yesterday that hotel was full and to come back today given both rooms were unacceptable especially given the cost. He said “ well I went and slept in that room last night just to prove it was fine, the bed is an old bed but I slept like a baby in it”. I was shocked at his behaviour and how rude he was to a customer. I said so you expect me to sleep in a room smelling of sewage. To which he then made some phone calls took me to a new room and that was that. Clearly the sewage was a known issue as he tried to explain the new room was on a different waste pipe system. The new room also had hairs all over the bathroom and side tables, clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly. But given how appalled and threatened I felt unable to give this feedback. This needs review by management. The smell in the lobby from the air freshener is unbelievably over bearing too. Given the hygiene in the room I chose to not dine there. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

I would have enjoyed my stay a lot more if the cleaning service was functioning properly. For some reason no one checked my room the first day of my stay so i ended up going to the front desk to ask for new towels and coffee pods. I was reassured that my room will be serviced properly the next day. Even though I came back from my sightseeing at 5 pm the next day the attendant was just getting to my room. So the service was very slow and inefficient.

I have stayed at the Mercure Paris Arc de Triomphe Etoile several times, and once again, I had a wonderful experience. The entire team is very friendly, welcoming, and professional, and I would like to sincerely thank them for the excellent service and for always making me feel at home. As an ALL – Accor Live Limitless Diamond member, I particularly appreciated being recognized and offered an upgrade. I also enjoyed the Diamond benefits, including early check-in, late check-out, and complimentary breakfast. These thoughtful touches really make a difference and make every stay even more enjoyable. The location is excellent, with easy access to the city and many of Paris’s main attractions. The rooms are very well maintained, clean and comfortable, and the beds are exceptionally comfortable—perfect after a long day exploring Paris. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Paris who wants to experience this amazing city while staying in a comfortable and conveniently located hotel. I will certainly be happy to return again. I only have one small suggestion regarding the breakfast. For guests who do not eat pork, the variety of alternatives is currently quite limited. It would be wonderful if the hotel could consider adding more options such as beef, turkey, salmon, or additional vegan choices. This would make an already excellent breakfast experience even better. Other than this small point, everything was amazing. Thank you to the entire team for your warm hospitality and for making my stays so enjoyable. See you again soon in Paris! 🇫🇷✨

2 points unsatisfied - When i called the front desk asking if there's one lotion and one cleanser (only 2 cleansers in our room), he said we didn't have lotion, but actually there are. - Breakfast served with Bad fruit which was already rotten, when i raised this, i was still charged full rate. i found it was a bit difficult communicate with staff in English sometimes, but as an international hotel brand and located in a tourist city, it shouldn't be the case.

I stayed for just one night but it was a good little spot close to the Arc de Triomphe. It’s a small hotel with a single lift, but it had a decent breakfast spread and the room was clean and tidy. There was disappointingly no bread toaster though. Not sure if it was broken or if that’s normal. Would come back and stay again if just need a room base.

This hotel makes you feel that you are in a nice true parisian neighborhood, but still literally around the corner from the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs Elysees. It is also conveniently located a block away from the Ternes Metro station. The hotel facilities are quite nice, and the staff is professional, helpful and very friendly. The rooms are overall top notch, very confortable and service is excellent. The experience there is one of plush comfort, and a secure place to rest and revitalize after a long day touring around Paris.
