The experience overall was great. The only fault was that the air conditioning could not be changed to make the room comfortable at night. We had to open the door to the balcony to cool the room down during the night.

I didnt get my drink voucher as i am a gold member and no changes in the breakfast from last many years. Pls change some options of the food

Modern hotel with chic decoration; our double room equipped only with a bath situated on an elevated "island" (with step for access A. exit to/from high-sided bath tub) under a sloping ceiling on a tiled floor; highly impractical, verging on unsafe for older guests. No shower. Reception staff welcoming, helpful A. friendly; bar staff cold, distant A. at outer limit of politeness. Welcome drinks (2) for Gold status did not stretch to a glass of Prosecco ( seriously?) but will cover a (more expensive) glass of Chablis; one of my vouchers therefore refused. Mercure: if you cannot afford Prosecco, I can recommend several supermarkets in Paris where a whole bottle will dent your bottom line for at most 8€.
