The hotel staff need to learn the meaning of the word "hospitality". Check in was polite but aloof. Breakfast staff was unwelcoming, cold and uninterested. The minibar in our privilege room did only offer paper cups (no glasses to drink from ). When I asked two glasses at the downstairs bar, barmaid informed why I needed them and reacted extremely unwilling and eventually rude. We decided to have breakfast elsewhere and after a second unpleasant experience with the rude barmaid not use the hotelbar anymore. Had bad experiences with rude Mercure staff before. Never had problems with Novotel staff.

I really liked the location, the room was warm and comfortable. I was very surprised that water and tea were included in the price, but either there was none at all or they were given very limited. This is the first my experience like this. The staff is polite, which is nice. I like the interior of the hotel.

Great hotel for sightseeing

Fabulous hotel, with very friendly helpful staff The rooms are not big but well equipped, modern and comfortable and more than adequate for a sightseeing holiday they were serviced daily with fresh towels, beds made and cleaned. The breakfast was freshly cooked with lots of choice and the dining room was cleaned constantly by the attentive staff in charge of it. Good WiFi and a handy fridge in the room. Very close to several metro stations (under 10 mins) and a train station and tram stop. Great Pâtisserie almost next door and several restaurants 2 mins walk which are far more reasonably priced than in city centre. Surrounding area appeared safe and quiet.
