We had a great stay at the hotel but we were a bit disappointed with a couple things. The rooftop terrace is actually on the 1st floor, so the views are not amazing as we thought they would be, and the pool is tiny and closes at 7pm. Way too early being summer if you want to visit the city during the day. Also, in the restaurant and room service, there is not much food that kids would eat and they don't let you use the common area to eat some snacks. My kids got a couple empanadas from a nearby place, and they were not allowed to eat it by the lobby and they were sent to the room, and the staff member told me we were the second ones that had that issue on that day. We saw a lot of families in the hotel, so if you don't have an extend menu where kids have choices, at least there should be a place to be able to eat outside food, instead of having to go to the tiny rooms with carpet.

Upon check out both elevators were out of service and had to carry 3 large suitcases down from the 6 floor down the stairs

Lovely room, but non-functioning USB ports; the couch was open against our instructions, and we had to wait a considerable amount of time for someone to arrive and figure out how to close it. Staff gave inconsistent and incorrect information regarding pool opening times that negatively affected our schedule. They incorrectly charged us for breakfasts we did not sign up for or request, and it took some time to convince them to figure out why the fee was so high and also to correct it, which negatively affected our departure time.

As for the pool opening hours, during the summer, we host live music concerts on our rooftop every Friday evening, which causes the pool area to close slightly earlier on those specific nights. Finally, concerning your invoice, we would like to clarify that no incorrect billing occurred. By default, breakfast options are displayed on booking estimates, but they are systematically reviewed and removed upon check-out when requested by our team, which was properly done. I really like staying at Accor hotels. However, for a Mercure I thought the rooms were pretty basic (lack of hygiene products like body lotion or hygiene kit). Also my room smelled like vinegar (probably from cleaning but not a scent I appreciate). Speaking of smells, the luggage room had a very weird smell - had to hold my breath when going inside to pick my bag. The pool schedule is also very limited when staying for business trip (closing at 19h leaves virtually no time between finishing work and getting to the hotel + opening hour is already during working time) Other than that, the staff was very nice and welcoming. Good breakfast offering.

The hotel is well located; staff is nice and helpful but there are some important and negative things to be considered. The hotel is old, elevators (2) have been failing several times, in fact out of my 3 days one of them has been out of service for two days and a half. No slippers provided, asking for amenities such as ear buds is like asking for a luxury amenity. Toulouse is a relatively large city, and this hotel looks more like 3 stars than 4 stars hotel, it looks more like an IBIS that MERCURE. One positive point the small swimming pool. I made some constructive comments to the staff so you should receive this information from 2 sides, if not, then you have a big failure in the way information flows from the inside.

Concerning amenities like slippers and toiletries, we limit their automatic setup in our standard rooms to comply with our Clef Verte eco-label commitments to reduce waste. However, please note that these are systematically provided in our Privilege rooms, and remain available for free upon request at reception for all other room categories. Finally, regarding the look of our hotel, a global renovation project is scheduled by 2027 to fully modernize our rooms and facilities to the highest Mercure standards. Wonderfully warm welcome from the hotel staff - it's always a little more a pleasure when there seems to be a genuine commitment to hospitality, and not merely to providing you with accommodation. The hotel is very well located, on the edge of the historic centre, and there is a POOL - a great asset in hot weather.

I was there on business for only two nights. I enjoyed the hotel and the friendly staff. The hotel is beginning to show it's age but the rooms were clean, the staff was very friendly. The AC unit was not working well and the room was a bit warm. However, it was 35 - 42 degrees C when I was there. Overall if was a nice stay.

Lovely pool on the first floor and wonderful staff with a great breakfast. Turned the AC up all the way and it only cooled down to 27 C (80F). This appears to be standard for the rest of the rooms. There is not a separate AC unit, just a vent that lets in a trickle of cool air. Would have received full marks otherwise. Perfect location!

However, during periods of intense summer heat, it is physically impossible for the system to bridge too wide a temperature gap with the outside. Furthermore, as a Clef Verte eco-labeled hotel, we are committed to sustainable tourism and energy efficiency. We purposefully avoid setting thermostats to excessively low levels, which is both more responsible for the environment and healthier for our guests.
