Representing a travel agency, I booked accommodation for a school group at your hotel. Although we had agreed on all terms and we completed the full payment as requested and within the agreed timeframe, you initially stated that the rooms would be cleaned only once every three nights—something completely unacceptable for a 4-star hotel chain, especially without prior notice. Furthermore, on the first day you served my group breakfast despite the fact that we had agreed on a buffet breakfast (I have all the relevant documents from your offer). Instead, you provided an individual packaged croissant and a piece of bread. After countless phone calls and emails, you threatened that unless I paid an additional €10 per person per day, the group would not be allowed to have a buffet breakfast. These are unacceptable practices from past decades that must come to an end. I will certainly inform the Panhellenic Association of Travel Agencies, submitting all the documents in my possession, so that all colleagues are aware of what they may face.

It was interesting to see how it worked. There was no illumination to help us find the hotel and no restaurant where we could have dinner. After our positive experience at the Mercure Hotel in Belfort, it was really strange.

Pleasant and helpful staff facilitated slightly early check-in, and guided during our stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable. However, I found paper cups for beverages in this Accor property also, maybe indicating this as a standard fit across all Accor hotels? This could be improved. The breakfast fare was minimal, maybe because I went in amongst the first few customers as the restaurant opened. Can be improved. The hotel is slightly away from the city centre, but cabs are available. If booking for pick-ups, intimate the cab driver to approach from the front gate as the rear gate will not be opened. I lost some time in this as the cab driver had reached the rear gate and found it difficult to reroute himself to the front gate thereafter.
