This property is rated four star, but 3-3.5 would be more accurate. We liked are larger suite room with kitchen. Unfortunately, we could not figure out how to fully open the sofa bed and we've opened many types of sofa beds elsewhere. After calling the desk for help, it never arrived, so we just forced it partially open (usable for one sleeper) the entire stay which limited space access. Looking back, we should have asked for help again. Also, the room was very hot when we arrived because the A/C was turned down/off for environmental reasons. Too get reasonably cool (temps were above average) took an entire day on highest cooling setting. POSITIVES: Location, price, friendly staff, mostly well kept property, well-stocked kitchen utensils, good wi-fi, quiet, breakfast, spacious underground parking, separate shower and bath, and small foosball/piano public space. Excellent restaurant and bar next door at the Novatel. NEGATIVES: Our floor looked a bit outdated (carpet, paint), separate water closet (bottom part of toilet seat would not stay up (for men) and was cracked underneath), provided coffee mugs did not fit under the auto coffee maker spout, too much emphasis placed on guests for admirable sustainability matters. CONCLUSION: We'd likely stay here again, ask for the same larger room with kitchen, and find out how to fully open and close the sofa bed.
