It's a short walk from the station. Our check in experience was smooth. The water view from the room was nice. Location is central - Tuesday's Farmers Market was a few steps walk and the beautiful areas of town were within walking distance.

The hotel had nice views and is at walking distance of all the nice spots in this beautiful town. Rooms are OK, a little tight on space and basic in their equipment. You would expect more for the price you pay… Staff could also be a little nicer … Good to have a public garage next door, but they no longer offer agreed special fares

Good location, not the best looking IBIS however

I just want to say that the IBIS staff in Annecy is wonderful and they really do everything for guests and they are really nice. The hotel is tired looking however even though it is centrally located and 5 minutes walking from the train station. So it's hard to get a better location. The rooms and hallways however are worn out. The bedding is good though and the place is clean. It could just use some renovations. There is one problem at night however and that is the groups of young men hanging out on the canal side of the hotel. It's not the hotel's fault but it makes guests uneasy as there are so many hanging out there just causing trouble. During the night, there are even fights outside the windows of the hotel. I'm not sure why the police tolerate this as it's not hard to see. Maybe the hotel could work with the city to make sure this activity is curtailed.

I'm of limited mobility and use a wheelchair. Sent my and my wife's baggage in advance. The hotel staff accepted the consignment and our bags were in our room upon our arrival. Similarly they managed the bag collection upon our departure. They couldn't have been more obliging and helpful. The hotel location is perfect for exploration of the delightful old town and the lake.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Everything was clean and in working order. We particularly appreciated the location right by the canal. The view was wonderful - watching the swans and ducks while having breakfast was a perfect way to start the day. The hotel is half a block away from the Centre Vieille walking street with all kinds of restaurants, etc. Annecy is a beautiful vacation destination. Beautiful sights and close to lakes and mountains. The mountains can be reached by local bus - much easier on the nerves than driving. We arrived in Annecy by train - the hotel is just a few blocks straight down the street from the station.

Used this hotel in the past which is a nice clean hotel in a great location for visiting Annecy. Only one issue experienced on this stay was because of the very high outside temperatures the hotel air conditioning was insufficient to cope so hotel room was very warm especially at night which made sleeping very uncomfortable.
