The beds were extremely uncomfortable. We had two single beds which had mattress toppers which kept slipping off the bed Meaning everytime you moved you nearly fell out. Also very hard to sleep on. Shower gel never replaced so I had to buy my own. Booked breakfast and the queue was so long that I had to cancel it and was messed around with my refund. Even though I paid with my card at the desk I was told to come back later and when I did was told the refund would be done online I said no to this as I need the refund the same way I paid. Also the breakfast looked terrible. Overall my Ibis experience was not a good one.

This hotel is barely 10 mins walk from the station and on the waterside near the edge of Annecy's lovely old town. Our room was upgraded and of good size. It was clean as was the bathroom, which had a good shower cubicle. The staff were very helpful. We would definitely return and stay here again.

Dear Neil U., Thank you for your kind words regarding your recent stay with us. Please can you feedback to the Accor Service team that the AI generated response to my query about a name change on my account was insulting, and quite frankly very annoying and patronising.

Dear Bill T., Thank you for your positive feedback regarding our location and staff. Concerning your comments about the AI-generated response and will ensure your feedback is forwarded to the relevant team for their consideration. I felt the hotel did not meet my expectation based on the online hotel description. While the rooms were clean, they were small, very basic and appeared worn. I was very put off by the fact when I pulled the duvet cover back the mattress topper had a fitted sheet but I could see a dirty box springs underneath. The shower head could not be adjusted to spray me but rather kept twisting to spray the wall, so I had to hold it the entire time I showered. Your staff was very nice and helpful. But, the hotel itself is subpar. I would not stay there again.

Hotel, staff, location all great. Only thing is a couple of hooks in the room (maybe by the door) to hang coats etc on as space is limited. Also better to have the hairdryer in the room not the bathroom.

Great location, lovely staff, nice and clean. We appreciated the water machine in the foyer too, as well as easy access with a wheelchair. However, bed was very uncomfortable and the polyester mattress protector was horrid to sleep on. I hardly slept due to the awful bed. The instant coffee in the room was disgusting. We were supposed to have coffee machine, bottle of water and an armchair but none of these were in our room.
