Basic hotel which does its job, but a newly fitted alarm caused a full evacuation at 04:55am. Everyone came out of their rooms and down to reception, but there was little if any direction from staff as to what was going on, leaving us with a 4 year old who was very upset and scared due to the loud alarm going off.

Bonjour Martin, Nous sommes sincèrement désolés pour l’inquiétude suscitée par l’activation de l’alarme incendie pendant la nuit. Elle a été déclenchée par une détection de chaleur et confirme le bon fonctionnement de notre système de sécurité incendie, en pleine conformité avec la réglementation en vigueur. Nous regrettons que la communication à ce moment-là n’ait pas été perçue comme suffisamment rassurante, surtout avec un jeune enfant, et ce point a été abordé avec notre équipe. Ideally located at the border of the old town, by the canal, the hotel is also step away from the train station, touristic and shopping area with plenty of restaurants/bars nearby.

Great location, tiny room comparing to other ibis that we had stayed before, tiny toilet with no shower box.. could be better in many ways but overall was ok..
