Stayed one night and was so impressed with the loyalty recognition. The welcome gift exceeded expectations and service was also great. It was a late arrival and early checkout so I did not have a chance to enjoy many of the facilities such as restaurant and breakfast but it looks great. Prices have gone up at this property of late so its not as good value as it used to be but certainly if you are happy with the rate its a pleasant experience.

Accommodation was clean and well equipped when we arrived. However, there were days when some complimentary goods, e.g. coffee and sugar sachets were not replenished. One day rubbish was not removed. I was disappointed that there was no streaming channels on the TV, (Netflix, Stan, etc plus catch-up mainline streaming). Overall it was very handy to the hospital and clinics. I would recommend Mercure for this reason alone.

Location good Check in ok - machine so not personal Bed needs replacing - every time you sat in it or rolled over it squeaked

The staff here were friendly and the location was suitable for my needs. The room wasn’t particularly clean - there was a dirty tissue left, hand prints all over the cabinets & the bathroom needed a deep clean. Considering this is a major chain, it’s a bit embarrassing for them they can’t even get something as basic as cleaning right. I also had booked a double/queen bed but was put in a room with two singles. I was only there for one night so couldn’t be bothered with the hassle of complaining, but again, how hard is it to offer the room that was booked? Lastly, the decor was appalling - who wants a photo of a concrete kerb with the words ‘parking’ painted below.
