Extremely disappointed with the lack of professionalism. My room (202) was flooded during building cleaning because the hotel forgot to notify me to clear the window area. My expensive electronics were severely water-damaged. ​It’s been nearly two weeks since I filed a claim, and I haven't heard a single word from the manager. They are ignoring their liability under Australian Consumer Law. ​A hotel that doesn't care about its guests' property or even reply to urgent emails is not worth your money. Look elsewhere!

We are Accor+ Gold members, AVC Traveller members, ALL+ Accor Explorer members. We have stayed in this place on many occasions simply because it is well located. We know it is Ibis, lower end of the food chain in Accor so our expectations are low to start with. But this time our experience was pathetic. The building has only one set of lifts (don't know whether it is even legal) it has not been working for more than 2 days according to the front office staff (only positive thing in this place). We had to walk up 4 floors (two retired seniors 71 & 67 years ). We do expect lifts to break down but single point of failure Accor should have maintained crews fix it within a day. When we booked the place the lifts were already broken down but there was NO warding in booking system. Had we had known this we would have booked another place. Accor talks big about plethora of membership and collect good money on membership fee but delivering service is zulch.

This an older hotel that could do with some TLC but the the rooms even if they look somewhat tired are all well cleaned and maintained. The staff seem very well trained and are extremely efficient and helpful as a result of a good management. Stay here if you want to be near transport or need to be near The San Hospital

The lifts were not working. The room was very tired and needs upgrading or refreshing. We opened the window and the opening was very dirty. The bed seemed to sag into the middle.
