A handy place to stay on the fringe of the city.Excellent staff and meals.A short walk to other restaurants or a short drive to Pennant Hills or Hornsby. Rooms at the back are a little quieter regarding road noise.

Was disappointed to see so many Cig butts and rubbish on the ground at outdoor seating area.. Stain just below picture on the wall in room 114 very disconcerting. I noticed it while sitting on the corner of the bed., watching the TV.. It looked like ejaculate., YUK... Other than that , staff were good. Bed Very comfortable indeed. I'd like to know what Brand it is..

Had an issue where I had a Gift Card to be used...took 3 days to sort out and was not happy when the remainder of the bill was tried to be put through on my credit card. Eventually it was all sorted but could have been a lot better organised. Otherwise very nice place to stay and convenient.

Ibis Thornleigh is well located and easy to find. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and the bistro food was good. However we were in the disabled fully accessible room, the bathroom was well set up but the bedroom was very crowded. Luckily we did not have a wheelchair as I feel the bedroom would not accommodate anyone in a wheelchair.

Our stay was fine, no real complaints at all. Ibis Thornleigh is starting to see recovery from very quiet times during Covid, which is great, but it does mean a lot of new staff. We used to know all the staff there, but most of them have moved on. Jimmy is practically the only member of staff that we really know, but we regard him as a friend. My only very little issues were that my room did not have a hairdryer, and initially, no bathmat - those things should have been checked. And, it kind of feels a bit trivial, but when I have booked 2 rooms for 4 nights, I think that warrants at least one free drink every night, not just one.

It is great to hear that you find comfort in the familiar face of Jimmy! We are hoping that the increased number of new faces around will soon become the regulars. I do see that you have raised some concerns, particularly in regards to our check in inclusions for our Accor members and our housekeeping standards and procedures. This is definitely not something we are happy to hear, nor do we wish for this to become a pattern. Please know that we are striving to tighten up these procedures including but not limited to pre assigning rooms for arrival to ensure they are cleaned earlier and inspecting rooms more diligently before guest arrival by our housekeeping supervisors. I do hope that this experience did not hinder your stay and really hope that next time you arrive we will be able to show you how far we have come and the improvement we have achieved. Check in and check out easy process. Staff were good. Room adequate as you would expect from Ibis. Hotel in good location when transiting through Sydney. Breakfast was basic but up to standard expected at Ibis.

Arrived late and left early, so experience was limited. Strong shower, comfortable bed, desk from which to do work functional. Downside: the room smelled upon arrival. I activated the air conditioning, which made it worse. I turned it off and by the morning the room was like a sauna. The breakfast was uninspiring but adequate.

Very old hotel with poor quality furnishings in the rooms, multiple repairs on walls and soft furnishings were long overdue and in need of replacement. Reception staff not very receptive to customer feedback.

My husband and I have stayed at this hotel, probably nearly 200 times (we received some time ago reference from the hotel for our 100th stay) but on this occasion it was not the usual standard. We had a booking for three nights, one night then absent, and another for one night. On the first stay we returned to the hotel about 3.00 pm in the afternoon to find the room not serviced. We asked the cleaner not to bother. However, on the final day the room was not serviced again, three days without any servicing. We had to ask for dry towels. We were phoned on two occasions to say the restaurant would not be open which we appreciated being notified in advance. However, on the final night after returning from dinner outside the hotel, the chef (we know him well due to our numerous stays) came to say 'hello'. When told we were informed the restaurant would not be open he was rather mystified. The staff were pleasant and the room clean when we arrived. However, the grounds certainly need attention, rubbish and papers everywhere. One staff member said he had been instructed to weed the garden, a pity it was an instruction to collect the rubbish. We will probably stay again if it isn't closed for their renovations and hopefully things will have improved. Also, I had prebooked this stay sometime earlier and could have cancelled and booked through 'red hot rooms', but didn't like causing any problems with the booking, now regret that I didn't do so.
