They would not provide a refund and after 3 emails they did provide a refund, even though I paid upfront and notified them 1 week in advance of cancellation.

Three of us had a lovely stay at Ibis Thornleigh. The rooms although very small were clean and well kept. There was ample, reasonably priced parking and a short walk to a great range of places for dinner and the station to travel into the city. It was quite and the beds were very comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

My daughter and I regularly travel to Sydney for experience days at her school. We have stayed at the Ibis in Thornleigh 3 times now and could not recommend it enough. There is ample parking, a restaurant on site, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff are just lovely. We like that there are also a number of food options nearby and a Woolworths within walking distance.

We had a few issues that lead to us being a bit dissatisfied Room was not very clean especially the bathroom Very smelly blocked drain the the bathroom sink AC was dripping water above the entry door Cobwebs on the ceiling above the beds Staff in the dining room were not very helpfully and completely forgot to give us our drink order on one occasion, we felt not enough staff to do check ins, take dinner orders and make drinks
