The hotel was exactly what I needed for my short stay - great location, quiet, clean and comfortable room with a nice hot shower. Room service available and the staff were friendly. I felt safe in the hotel during the Covid climate, there was hand sanitiser available, the staff wore masks and general areas were cleaned regularly. I cannot fault the hotel on a thing. We needed to book two rooms for our drivers transiting from victoria to queensland. i called ahead to confirm that we were able to book at the hotel given we were from victoria. i also detailed our company covid safety plan as well as confirmed we had valid permits from both NSW and QLD. I spoke with Tim who was very helpful and understanding and we agreed that both guests would check in with PPE and go straight to the room until depature the next morning. I was very happy and grateful with the deals i had with tim on the phone. I was however disappointed with the response that the girl on the desk (i didnt get her name) gave my two employees. on check in the maintained distance, wore masks and gloves and the room was prepaid. Despite that the girl said to them that they shouldnt be there and could they go home. My employees clarified that we had cleared the booking with the manager and no they couldnt go home as they were driving cargo to Queensland. Luckily she allowed them to check in but was very rude in telling them they couldnt eat or drink or be in a common area places. We had already put that in our covid safety plan and both guys went straight to the room and didnt leave until check out - but in all it was a dissapointing exchange between the girl on check in and our employees. Other than that the say was excellent

Location on a busy highway was convenient but possibly a coronavirus risk with so many travellers. Room for two was small with no chairs, no bedside tables, no table and only one power point in the room itself and one in bathroom. The lip on the step up into the modular bathroom was a trip hazard. Staff were efficient but not particularly friendly. Hotel dining room was open. Comfortable chairs in foyer were handy as there certainly weren't any in the room. Several restaurants nearby. Fridge so cold the milk froze solid, even on a second night using a lower setting. Price reasonable.

I am an Accor member and was surprised and very disappointed at the poor accommodation. We stayed for two nights over the weekend. There appeared to only be one staff member on duty. No towel changed or room servicing during our stay, which was a surprise when we came home after a busy day. We had to go downstairs to request and collect fresh linen and milk, and put used linen in the hall, where it remained until we left. The room is very cramped and small, with no fresh air in the tiny 'pod' bathroom, which smelled dank. We had booked (and confirmed) a two-single bed room and were given a king (two singles together) and single rollaway, which meant there was only one narrow area to walk in the room and nowhere to put bags. This also meant one person was cramped in to sleeping with the wall telephone at their head (easy to knock off) and the cupboard at the end of the bed. The window areas were thick with dust. Facilities very poor - the kettle cannot be filled in the small bathroom sink, and there is no plug available in the room for the kettle to be plugged in, so it has to be balanced precariously in the small bathroom. The pod bathroom is raised, with a high step, and very small, which would be problematic for anyone with mobility issues or a larger body. The price of the room (around $120 per night) was comparable with four-star hotels in the area including Courtyard by Marriott, where I have previously stayed, which has rooms you can walk around, is clean and up-to-date. Extremely disappointing.
