It was such a horrible experience with Sebel Chatswood. Check-in Process was such a shame- no one at the check-in counter at 4:30 PM 27 June 2026 when we arrived- even though it clearly stated on reception desk that this reception is manned till 6:30 PM. Took us 1.5 hours to check in on phone as other customers were also waiting. Another issue on Parking- i was given parking 1013 on level 1 and i could park there but when i left and came back on the night i had someone else parked in that spot- i again had to call Sebel to have this issue resolved- took me 1 hr to find another parking spot and get someone on phone to help me. This is after we had a long day reaching Sydney. The experience was stressful. Coming on to the extra bed I requested from the reception on 28 June morning around 10:30 AM- I explicitly mentioned i want the extra bed which has no extra charge and the reception guy said ok we can give you the sofa bed and it will be placed in your room 2202 the same day. Upon check out on 30 June i checked my credit card and see a transaction of $111.54 by Sebel Chatswood- no email no invoice no information on why this is being charged- i call sebel support and then i am told this is for extra bedding you requested- this is appalling. So now i have called 7 times to have this looked into and refund me the extra bedding charging- no update yet. I am really disappointed with this experience and surprised by how Sebel does their operations- poor to the core. How can you charge a customer and not send them an invoice for why this is charged? This is cheating- not sure how many people wont even check their transactions on credit card when they check out from Sebel and its free money for you guys.
