We arrived around 12:45. I acknowledge that checkin is 3pm however what been on a plane all night and had hoped we would be able to check in a little early. My husband was not well and a shower would have been appreciated. The man at the checkin was very unsympathetic. We went across the road and had some lunch. Returning around 1pm hoping that our room was ready. We spoke to a girl this time who informed us again our room was not ready. We were finally able to checkin at 2.55pm after we watched several others check in early. There was no sympathy to our needs and it almost seemed they were never going to let us check in early. Very disappointing indeed.

Staff were welcoming and friendly. Location is great for train access to the city and Chatswood shopping. Unfortunately the room (2 bedroom apartment) was tired, dated and generally not clean. I had asked for the sofa bed to be prepared and it wasn’t. When I opened the sofa to check, there were chips under the cushions. The dining table had grease and grime from prior guests. The bathroom had lots of mould that would have been easy to remove if cleaning was done properly. The room and furnishings are quite dated. The beds were comfortable.

Stayed 5 nights but no recognition of Diamond status, no room cleaning etc for entire 5 night stay

Staff are friendly & helpful BUT, despite all effort, encountered with cockroaches on a daily basis in the bedroom, bathroom & kitchen, very unpleasant experience

The stay was OK, although I question why neither the reception nor the gym is accessible until only after 7am. Given the business nature of my trip, this certainly did not fit within my timeframe but perhaps this is just a personal gripe. Also, after happily staying at this hotel several years ago, this trip was a good opportunity to revisit. I was however surprised to see that that level of cleanliness (coffee table and carpet as examples) and maintenance had deteriorated since my last stay.
