Great location but the balcony is a bit grotty and there was a cockroach there (not that it’s an issue) and email communication with management is lacking.

The apartment was comfortable but it was tired. The windows and balcony were dirty as were the kitchen and bathroom. Once I cleaned the bathroom and kitchen we enjoyed our stay.

I turned up at the property at 6.00pm. One entrance is for residential apartments and another for the hotel. I think. There was no signage. The instructions on the intercom were unclear and I had no idea how to get in. Luckily, someone was leaving and I was able to get in when they opened the door. There was no one on reception. The sign read that it was only manned until 6.00pm. There had been no communication from Accor or the property about this - not an email, not a phone call, not a text. Had I known, I would have arrived before 6.00pm. There was someone there who eventually came and gave me room keys. I asked about the breakfast as I am a platinum member. He said there was none. I explained that the app said that there was a continental option. He said they usually have breakfast boxes but had run out. I asked if they had them, would they be complementary for me as a platinum member. He said “no”. The room was fine - plenty of space. I would argue that it was not a “fully equipped kitchen” as advertised though. There was no baking tray/s thus rendering the oven unusable. We had to go and purchased some and the oven stank like oily fish. All in all, a pretty awful experience.

No Accor welcome drink/snacks. Air Conditioning was freezing in main room only worked if set to below 15. Second bedroom 50 degrees as air con did not work at all in there. Stove top did not function meaning a lot of extra money was spent on takeaway as we could not cook. Maintenance looked at both issues and could not fix. A lot of money was spent for a self contained apartment with kitchen facilities only to not be provided. No offer of a room change we asked for a fan nothing was brought. A letter will be going to the manager to ask for a partial refund as we did not get the facilities we paid for as we were told there is no longer a manager for guests located at the apartment she is in Malaysia. If we wanted a cheap motel with no air con or cooking facilities we would have taken that option. This was a very disappointing stay that cost a lot of money for what we received and we have been coming for over 10 years every few months. Things need to be done better.
