The hotel is strategically located in the city center, right next to a shopping mall, making it very convenient. The room was comfortable, clean, and just the right size, with all the necessary amenities provided. The staff were also friendly, attentive, and quick to assist whenever needed. Overall, it was a great stay! The only area for improvement would be the soundproofing, as noise from other guests was occasionally disturbing. With better soundproofing, this hotel would easily be a 10/10

I’d give our stay 9/10. There were so many plus points, even from before we actually arrived. Mega from the Reservation team was incredibly helpful and attentive throughout the booking process, and everything we had discussed beforehand was delivered exactly as promised. My kids absolutely loved the welcoming gift and the congratulatory greetings written on the mirror. Such a small gesture, but it really made them feel special. ❤️ The check-in process was quick and smooth, which was much appreciated after traveling with kids. The valet service was also a huge help, especially considering the hotel is integrated with the mall. The room itself was clean and comfortable, with stable hot water and cold AC throughout our stay. Housekeeping and the reception team also deserve a special mention for their fast responses and helpful service. The warm swimming pool was definitely a big plus point, especially for families with children. One small suggestion would be to make the smaller pool warm as well, since younger kids tend to spend more time there. Having a shower & changing room in the pool area would also make the experience even better, as it would be much more practical for families and help kids avoid getting cold while walking back to the room. And now, a special shoutout to the restaurant team during breakfast: two thumbs up! 👍👍 I happened to chat with Chef Pandji at the pastry station and asked whether one of the breads was a salt bread. It turned out to be a sweet bread, which was totally fine. To my surprise, over the next two days, the team prepared a special R&D version of salt bread for us to try. Before our last morning, I casually mentioned that my kids had fallen in love with kue cubit while exploring Garut. The next day — voila! — a special plate of kue cubit was delivered to our table. Honestly, I have no idea how the team managed to know exactly when we arrived for breakfast each morning, but we absolutely loved this level of attention and thoughtfulness! It really made us feel cared for. It was such a pity that on our last day, my kids suddenly felt unwell, and we had to rush back to the room, so I didn’t get the chance to share my feedback about the salt croissant in person. One final small suggestion: it would be even better if the room’s trash bins were lined with plastic bags for added convenience and hygiene. Overall, it was a truly enjoyable stay with many thoughtful touches that made a real difference, especially for families with children. We would be very happy to come back.

I often stay at hotels with vacation my family for long stay (min. 4 days) including at 5-stars hotel. I previously stayed at Hotel Mercure Ancol and had a memorable experience; the staff were friendly, the facilities were excellent, and there was a various variety of breakfast options. I expected a similar experience at Hotel Mercure Garut. Unfortunately, my stay in Mercure Garut was not good experience. During my 4 days stay, the breakfast menu was less options, it just one chicken menu as main course and one vegetable in day by day. The quality of the pastries was also unappealing. This was a very poor breakfast variety for a 4-star hotel. And also the woman staff when I checked in was not polite, no smile. I hope to see improvements in the future.

Thank you so much to Ibu Mega Silvanti for helping us with the reservation process through Accor. Everything went very smoothly 😊 Our stay at Mercure Garut was truly satisfying! The room was clean and comfortable, and the check-in and check-out processes were very quick and smooth. The location is very strategic, right next to the mall, and it’s very easy to find plenty of places to eat nearby. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The swimming pool isn’t very big, but it was more than enough for our kids, and the water was warm 😍 Breakfast was delicious, with a great variety of food options. We’re so happy with our stay, and honestly, we were quite surprised that Mercure Garut was even better than some Mercure hotels we’ve stayed at in bigger cities. We will definitely come back again! ❤️
