Great location, ease of access from many locations within the city. The stay was great as Sabrina confirmed my stay before arrival and have the room ready for me with welcoming desserts. I'd prefer the room to have a warmer lights all along. Gym is nice and proper. Pool is rather small but okay. Parking lot is tricky if you have a larger car.

Maybe I don't stay a lot in Novotel lately. In Accor groups, I had stayed at Novotel hotels more than others. I had stayed at Novotel Bangkok (old location, Ploenchit, Sukhumvit) many times, Novotel Semarang, Novotel Yogyakarta (old location, jl. Jend. Sudirman), Novotel Singapore, Novotel Bandung (twice). So, in general I'm quite familiar with what I could expect at Novotel: best value, good location, spacious room (relatively compared to other), good bed and good breakfast. Maybe it's unfair to compare it to Novotel Singapore as my last stay at Novotel before this one? But either carry Novotel name, as 4-star hotel under Accor flag. I'm a little disappointed with three things in this stay: 1) breakfast quality (sub-standard salads, sub-standard coffee, limited choice of main dishes (the only meat is chicken that is overcooked and dry/tough), overcooked poached eggs to name some. 2) the bed cover that is old and torn on of the edge (like torn due to the old fabric could no longer stand the powerful washing machine. 3) the water kettle in the room is not clean; when I rinse it with water, the residual is rather thick. The ice cubes inside the refrigerator seemed left for along time with some dust on it that become apparent once you poured water into it. I hope I don't sound too negative. Because besides those 3 things above, the other experience are not too bad. If I would say, Novotel Bandung is more like Ibis grade hotel with bigger room than real Novotel grade hotel.
