Great Chinese restaurant Room was run down and looked quite dirty Inconsistent service - in other Mecure hotels, I can get beers as part of the complimentary beers for Accor Plus members, but not in this hotel Staff did not know how to handle foreign currency choice on credit card transactions and tried to take my card away with the EFT terminal to a manager.

We booked two rooms for our little family. At first we were placed at sixth floor but it was so noisy from (I think) the plumbing or some sort, so noisy we were having trouble sleeping. It was so great after brief complaint we were immediately moved to new rooms at third floor the next day.

nice to be back to this hotel and the service still warm. very lovely. we were greeted on every corner of this hotel with smile. the health protocol is also well implemented. from lobby, pool, restaurant, the staff keep the social distancing at all times. thank you and we will be back again someday, for sure. stay healthy for all staff.

We had a good stay at Mercure Setiabudi Bandung. We always love to stay here, one of our favourite hotels in Bandung. But too bad, we didn't get any complimentary for the minibar anymore for the Deluxe room. The hotel used to give the minibar complimentary for the Deluxe Room.

We stay for one night in the weekend. We reserved 2 (two) superior rooms with balcony. We love to stay at Grand Mercure Setiabudi, Bandung. All the staff were friendly but unfortunately not too helpfull … When my husband need somebody to help to getting in and getting out the luggages (many luggages) from car, the staffs only standby in front of lobby without helping him … Different from other hotel like Aston Hotel. And when We having breakfast, the staffs not to responsive to clean the table and dishes which already been used, different from other Hotel like Aston or Alana. We love all the foods. The swimming pools have warm temperature and We love it very much. We can swim until 9 pm. The rooms also so clean. We got promo prices that We think so worth it We also love the view in the night, especially for rooms that face to the Bandung city. Surely, We will come again in the near future. Thank you very much

We understand that the pandemic has changed how hospitality works now. But to strip down the room necessities to its bare bones? Complimentary water was limited to only 2 bottles (@ 600 ml) per day, where in other 5 stars hotels guest can request for additional complimentary water. Complimentary tea bags and coffee sachets were not refilled the next day. Requests for bath towels and dining utensils took more than 3 calls and more than 30 minutes. At one instance, we made 6 calls and waited for more than 2 hours, and in the end NOTHING came. The only redeeming thing for our stay was that this hotel has lukewarm (yes, lukewarm. not hot) water for the pool.

I just tried our first staycation in pandemic era and brought 2 kids. It is a worried experience at the first time but finally I and all my family fell relieved. And it bocome our WORRY FREE Staycation ever. All the covid protocols had been taken seriously. Since we checked in, eating breakfast and swimming. It makes our staycation so surprisingly comfortable and full of joy. We sure come again next two month and stay a bit longer than this.

This was our second stay in Grand Mercure Setiabudi. The rooms were nice, the staff accomodated our request of interconnecting room. The pool was nice, although other facilities wasn't opened yet since pandemic situation. No staff welcomed us at The Hardy's restaurant so we went outside for dinner . The hotel allowed us to order outside food, which was very nice policy. Overall we enjoy our stay.

I stayed at the only one Executive room (they say only 1 exec room in this hotel) The room wasn't represented as executive room compare to other 5 star Accorhotel, Minibar once only no refill on the next day onwards. Room was smelly, there was very bad smell came out from toilet sink. Brakfast was very very bad, food variety was very limited, I think similar to breakfast in 3 star hotel like Ibis. Staff are very unfriendly and too stiff, I had to argue about breakfast voucher and they responded unfriendly they said rule and regulation by Accor. Well..If you are strict to the rule, then why I paid brakfast and I got the food variety not served as 5 star hotel then??. Actually this wasn't about money, but the way you responded to the customer's enquiry. The other unpleasant thing was when I came to get my welcome drink, I wanna bring it to my room and suddenly staff not allowed me to bring my welcome drink..even I explained, he insisted me to drink in the restaurant where got people there as well. Hello is it covid-19 pandemic? wouldn't it be safer to drink in the room?? Yes got rule said that, but you mustn't be too stiff and you must be flexible enough too ..ALLSAFE man! Just suggestion: hospitality Customer Handling training is really required to improve your staff knowledge and skill. However this is my first stay at Grand Mercure Bandung, with all experiences given during my stay.. I seriously consider not to stay on this hotel. Anyway good one with this hotel only the pool.

Best Chain hotel in Lembang Bandung

Located near Tourism Destination, Lembang area of Bandung city (northern part) This hotel is the ONLY international chain nearest to Tourist destination Lembang. The rest are some Local chains with range from Luxury to Budget Hotel. Most international chains Open in Bandung city area, seems they dare Not to risk opening to suburban Lembang. NOTE : Pullman just open new props in Bandung City area Diponegoro (located faraway from Tourism area, but have Great Lounge) This Mercure had good Reputable restaurant for Chinese food namely JING restaurant. But our bfast buffet was in another one by swimming pool. This prop does not come with High Floor design, max 8-9 floor but good enough to be semi Resort concept. The climate already enjoying the Low temp of Mountain area, so we can sleep with no air con (thou the building has installed for Guests) We got Upgraded to Privilege Room with dedicated Terrace seating area with View of Swimming Pool. The swimming Pool is Integrated concept with Park and Lounge. Morning breakfast can have seating by Pool side. At night, the pool has Bottom Sparkling lights so to enhance the Ambience of Landscape. Very cool concept, looking at the pool at night with this installation, makes us feel like looking at Sparkling Gems in the dark of night. The pool area had many Outdoor Seating beside the Lounge/Bar, so we can have outside dining in day or night. Privilege Room is one tier below Suite, but we do get Afternoon Tea as well. The staff forgot to inform about the afternoon tea, but the next day thanks to Phillip, our hotel staff, they can arrange FnB Package for takeaway after check out to compensate. Overall this prop is best alternative for those who want International chain nearest to Bandung tourism area. For those who do Business meeting in Bandung city, had better find accor in city area, considering the Traffic and Distance. Will come back again for sure.

Stayed here for 2 nights and feel so happy for the warm welcome of the staffs and great surroundings. Breezing wind coming through window and cool air surely will refreshed your brain. The facilities also great especially the pool. Upgrade room also offered which make this trip greater But i hardly could sleep in these 2 nights, perhaps need to improve your pillow quality. I suggest a latex pillow choices will enhance the sleep quality. And please improve your service when package for us arrived at the reception, at least please inform us by calling through inroom phone or you can offer to deliver the package to our room. We had to call reception to ask if our package has arrived and no offer for delivery to our room. Midscale hotels such as novotel always offer us this service, I hope grand mercure also do the same way they do.
