This is our fourth stay in the Grand Mercure Setiabudi, only this was the first time we stayed post-normal era during the SARS-CoV Pandemic. This was also the first time wherein we stayed in rooms on the main building with balconies. Past stays were all in rooms without balcony. We loved the room especially access to the balcony that allows cold air entry during the day. The room was a complementary upgrade from the promo provided by the hotel. With this pricing and the provisions set in place, I would say that the new promo pricing extremely value for money. Like usual, rooms were comfortable and clean only this time there are stickers placed on the doors to seal the rooms that have been sterilized. Other provisions include swimming scheduling and breakfast as well. We also ordered multiple room service both in-room and by the pool. The food choices were superb to say the least, and the quality is appropriate for the pricing. One thing that was amiss during the stay was the new normal breakfast schemes, which has tremendously toned the variety of food options available. This only included two separate food stations and a pastry bar. Its not lacking, just a bit pale in comparison with options we had pre-pandemic. Throughout our stays, this was the only time I went to accompany other family members by the pool, and possibly the only time I ever seen it so empty. The general vibe of the poolside and outdoor restaurant seems more relaxing with less people. One thing that did come to my concern was the poor internet connection provided by the hotel. Considering that this pandemic has turned everything into virtual format, this has been proven to be fatal. I had multiple meetings and calls that took place during my stay and I could say that the internet is a poor excuse for a 5-star hotel such as Grand Mercure. We expect that this problem to be solved right away. Our checkout procedure was seamless to say the very least, and staff at front desk was helpful enough to provide us with early checking about 3 hours before 1 PM. Overall splendid service and can’t wait to come back.

Nice hotel, well located hotel if you want to visit Lembang or Tangkuban Perahu. This hotel Applied the protocol of Covid19. All the staff wearing face shield and mask, so we don't have to worry. The room is cleaning by disinfectant.

Comfortable place to stay with a strategic location, nice staff, good services and a good health protocol during this pandemic. Especially the Lagoon Room which have a memorable view and direct access to warm water swimming pool. I love my room. Receptionist really help fulfilling my room request. The view from my room is stunning. The food at the Hardys is good enough. One thing that is very impressive about the food is: The Pastry. I think those breads, croissant, muffin, etc are the best, they're sooo yummy and tasty. My family and I love the breads so much. They are above our expectation. The staff are all friendly. I remember Ms. Wulan, Ms. Zaza, Mr. Ferry, Mr. Ayi the manager, they are all so helpful. I add one more night so I can stay longer. I hope the staffs and guests could stay safe and healthy by doing the covid 19 prevention actions all the time while in the hotel.
