I stayed at Mercure City Center for two nights in December 2025. The hotel is situated near Alun Alun Bandung. Being a 4 star hotel and comparing to other Mercure hotels I have visited, Mercure City Center have some fundamentals gap to 4 star hotel standard. Hotel lobby and other public area seems to be very cluttered. Parking space is limited with not enough room for vehicles to manuever in the lobby drop off area. Room size and interior quality is inferior even compared to many 3 star hotels in Bandung I've visited. Hot water is not stable. The worst thing is that most of the staff seems to be clueless about their job. The receptionists, security, concierge. All the confusions on checking in, online food delivery, parking. The positive side of the hotel is room cleanliness, breakfast buffet selection which offers a wide variety of local food, and the rooftop bar and pool view, impressive view both at night and morning. I hope the hotel management can work on some improvement plan.
