The Fairmont Hanoi is one of the best hotels we have stayed at. The service sets it apart. Jeff, and the Gold Lounge team (William, Stella, Ms Nga, Max, Woody, Shu, Teddy, Mie, Hang, Khanh, and Ngan) were warm, attentive, and consistently went beyond the expected. The Club Lounge drinks and canapés were excellent, and the private booth for calls is a thoughtful touch you won't find elsewhere. The pool, gym, and wellness centre are in a class of their own. Highly recommend the Fairmont Hanoi. We are already planning to return.

I’d like to offer a quick suggestion regarding breakfast service. The à la carte menu at Bacco Restaurant displays prices, which was quite confusing for us as guests. We assumed these items were a paid add-on, so we refrained from ordering anything on our first day. It would be very helpful to clearly indicate that these items are complimentary for breakfast guests, as many might be hesitant to order otherwise. Or please ask the staffs to explain the system, we weren’t explained anything until we asked.
