The staff at the hotel are friendly and the breakfast was good. Unfortunately our room had a view of an outbuilding directly in front of the window alongside trolleys full of dirty bed linen. The staff took their breaks outside our window. The smart tv in our room didn’t work so we couldn’t connect to stream anything and when we requested dressing gowns, we were told it was a £20 charge per gown. Meanwhile, our towels were replaced with fresh ones everyday even though we had hung them up to reuse them.

Bar operation was very slow until the bar area filled up, sometimes a 10 minute wait to be served.... our room faced the rear outlook of the separate house, nothing special if I'm honest

The location was lovely and overall a Very clean hotel but considerably overpriced considering the lack of facilities- no room service and a very basic room to be honest - whilst there was shower gel and shampoo provided they were high up on wall and attached to it so when having a bath there were such luxuries that I would expect at a hotel at this price - the housekeeping provided an excellent job though and absolutely no complaints regarding cleanliness !!!!

First time in the annex part of the hotel and won't be doing that again. Privilege double was poor compared to those in the main hotel. Smaller room and bathroom very small. TV didn't work, it was too late to call reception to fix it. We were right above the entrance door and if left open it causes an alarm, a nice wake up call early on a Sunday!

The staff were very helpful generally. Our room was clean and tidy and the bed was very comfortable. We expected courtesy bottled water and there was none, but the tap water was fine. The mini fridge was most helpful. We were part of a group of 10 and there were a few problems with our pre-ordered dinner. One of our group was missed out completely for the ordered main course, but fortunately the staff were able to rectify this with only a short delay. There were a few other minor issues but the staff were again helpful in resolving most issues. The bar staff were quite slow in delivering drinks that we ordered, but were attentive in dealing with any problems, whether their mistake or ours. In general we found all of the staff courteous and most helpful.

Great place to stay! Very comfortable and spacious. My partner and I stayed with our dog and it was great. Staff is very nice and food is good. Not ideal if you don’t have a car as it’s a bit far from Oxford centre, but is definitely great for “going away and relaxation” purposes. The only thing I didn’t like is that flushing the toilette was very annoying. Going to the room’s toilette right after another person couldn’t happen as the toilette would not flush. Very annoying

room looked clean; but floor very dirty (feet picked up a lot of hair). Bathroom also had a lot of hairs in. Room was right next to vents / system so very noisy in the morning. Overall, good sized room, friendly staff and had what we needed. Just felt the room could have done with a deep clean.
