Me, my spouse and son stayed for 4 nights for a family vacation in Switzerland. We had a good experience staying in this hotel. Commuting to Lucern, Interlaken, Zurich and Geneva were easy as Trains were avaliable to all directions on a short intervals.

I really like this hotel - it's my number one choice in Bern. A warm and friendly welcome with efficient check in and service. I asked for a high floor, quiet room and that's exactly what I got - thank you Sabrina and team! Clean rooms with aircon that works, comfy beds and well sound-insulated. Breakfast is good and plentiful, no matter what time you arrive. I always think a good night's sleep is the basic thing every hotel should strive for - and the Ibis Styles Bern does it very well. Easy to reach on public transport (now the works have neared completion it's just 4mins by number 10 bus from the main train station and around 6mins by Tram 3), I made good use of my Bern Welcome transport card too. In fact, hopping on the number 10 bus and getting off at Rosengarten is a must for amazing sunset views of the whole city! Hope to be back.

I loved the hotel for a solo lady traveller, felt safe. The employees were so accomodative. So sweet and approachable to talk to to, they were available to assist even late at night. Breakfast speed was great too! And the highlight was the location. So easily connected. They also provide you a bus pass for 100/101 zones which cover most of the city areas. Thank you.

Hotel is 2 bus stops from train station, about a 15 min walk. My room was overlooking the street, with tram traffic, and I did not hear a noise. Nice shower in the bathroom. Water fountain in the corridor was appreciated as well as free access to a coffee machine in the breakfast room.
