We were returning from a southern Germany road trip and preparing for our flight back. I wanted a hotel with good and secure parking but also not too far from town. This place was perfect for this purpose! It's only 5-10 minutes walk to train and tram stations. The room was also very comfortable and quiet and we got great rest. The breakfast was also great with components of a full English breakfast. Staff was also very friendly and helpful.

The room was much bigger than I thought it would be. The location is great. There are 2 tram lines that pass in front of the hotel so it’s very easy to get to all that you want to explore. About a 5 minute walk from the hotel, you have a great selection of restaurants and places for coffee. I really enjoyed that neighborhood. For breakfast, there is a good selection. The warm bread is excellent.

The hotel is very nice very modern, but unfortunately it’s not located near any of the main tours attractions in Munich and it is an expensive cab ride to get to them

Our stay was extremely disappointing and unacceptable. We booked two rooms for our family, and the children’s room (206) had a strong urine smell. We later discovered that the mattress was stained with dried urine—an appalling hygiene failure that should never occur in any hotel, especially a Novotel. Instead of resolving the matter smoothly, we were told that replacing the mattress could take up to one month and were required to change rooms. We had more than 12 pieces of luggage and received no assistance with moving them, wasting a considerable amount of our holiday time and causing unnecessary exhaustion. One of the replacement rooms was an accessible room that was unsuitable for our needs, with a very low bed and sink and an inconvenient bathroom layout. We had booked this holiday to relax, not to spend our time dealing with unhygienic rooms, unsuitable replacements and moving heavy luggage. The offer of a complimentary dinner and the fruit plate later delivered to the room were completely inadequate considering the seriousness of the incident. As a Muslim family, cleanliness is particularly important to us, and discovering a urine-stained mattress in our children’s room was deeply distressing. The hotel’s response did not reflect the severity of the hygiene issue or the inconvenience and distress caused to our family. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this hotel.

Dear Mr A., I would like to apologise once again sincerely for the problems with your children’s bed. That is unacceptable and below our standards. Please rest assured that I have already looked into this and taken steps - and within my team I will make sure that negative experiences like yours are a rare exception in the future. I am very sorry that, due to the high occupancy rate at the hotel, we were unfortunately unable to provide you with a better alternative room. However, we would ask for your understanding that our 4-star hotels do not provide a luggage service. I feel very bad for the inconveniences you had to deal with - and at the same time I do appreciate your feedback, which is an important component toward long lasting and continuously improving quality services. The hotel is centrally located within walking distance to the main train station, 15 min. and bus terminal ZOB, 10 min. The breakfast offers a good variety of international and local foods such as pan cakes, bacon and eggs as well as traditional Bavarian food like mini Brezen and Weißwürste. The Flave restaurant offers a good variety of foods from club sandwiches to cold cut platters with real Pharma ham served with both hard and soft cheese, Hamburgers, Schnitzel and delicious desserts. The rooms are clean and the mini bar is well stocked and cold. The beds are very comfortable. The only downfall in the summer time with warmer temperatures is the hotels technically advertised "air conditioning", the reality of how it operates catches many travelers off guard, it's more a central air that is remotely controlled by the hotel and cannot be self controlled. The temperature is set for all hotel guest with an average temperature between 23°c and 24.5°c. all in all, a great place to stay in the fall and winter time.

The hotel is located in an amazing spot, with the nearest train station under a 10 min walk from out the door. Local tram lines are even closer. Breakfast was fantastic as many others have noted, and overall service was quite good. The people at the front desk kept my bags at the front before my check in time so I could walk around without all that weight, which was greatly appreciated. All hotels are quite pricey in Munich this time of year, so for what I paid, which was quite little, compared to what I got, I’m very satisfied. I actually prefer this location over being in the noisy city centre. Not much else to stay. Very clean, modern, well kept spot.

We stayed there for 4 nights but repeatedly felt that the staff at the reception were very unwelcoming. From check in to check out, the tone was constantly to undermine the guests. No pleasant smile or check on the guests ever.
