We regret that our hotel and our services did not meet your expectations; please allow us to express our sincerest apologies. Regarding the air conditioning, please allow me to explain that our hotel is equipped with what is known as a chilled-water air-conditioning system, as is common in Germany and many other European hotels. The base temperature of the system is controlled centrally, whilst the control unit in the room allows for individual fine-tuning within the specified temperature range. Unlike direct evaporation systems, which are frequently used in North America, for example, these systems are not designed to cool rooms down to 16 or 18 °C, particularly when outside temperatures are extremely high. During your stay, Munich experienced exceptionally high outside temperatures. Under these conditions, our air-conditioning system is designed to achieve room temperatures of around 22 to 24 °C. we are pleased to provide our guests with an additional fan. I sincerely apologize for the minor differences between the photos and your room, but I ask for your understanding that these are merely sample photos of the respective room categories. It was 31C during our stay and we were told the hotel had air conditioning, after leaving it on all day we went to the front desk and they said we could switch rooms the next day. Magically the next day they were also fully booked and the AC technician was not there. We received 2 fans. We asked multiple times about the air conditioning and we were told it would be fixed or we could move rooms, then we were told it’s central air it doesn’t always distribute to all rooms equally. We booked this hotel specifically since it had AC but that was a lie. Also our room was supposed to have 1 large bed but had 2 small beds (which were mattress pads) pushed together which did not make for a comfortable rest. Overall the amenities description is inaccurate along with photos of the room

The room is comfortable and clean, and our requests were taken care of, both before our arrival and while we were staying. Negative point: it's really annoying for the customer that when we have trouble understanding something said, people roll their eyes, make sounds with their mouth, and then respond to us. Just communicate the essentials, without beating around the bush. Point it out, write it down, put it in Google Translate, or do something if the person doesn't understand. Simple and practical. Nowadays we have technology for that, and it's completely unnecessary for the customer to go through any embarrassment.

The hotel was spotlessly clean. The housekeeping chap was unable to speak any English at all yet we still managed to get by well. The location was excellent & only a few stops from the main train station. There’s an ATM across the road which was handy. It was mostly the friendly welcoming staff on the front desk that has prompted my review. They were super helpful with maps & instructions on getting to places. Traveling solo feeling welcome is everything to me.

Upon entering you feel like the usual accor experience which is a clean, nicely welcomed and friendly place. Indeed I would say it was even one of the more inviting places that I been too. Unfortunately, while the room seemed clean and standard as usual, the matraces smelled terrible of cigarettes and I found multiple hairs upon first entry of my room on the bed and under my pillows. Simply not clean. This was room 333 FYI.

Convenient location. Fast check-in. Great room, comfortable bed, and very quiet. I liked everything except for the towel — it was shedding fibers badly and didn’t absorb water at all, so it was practically impossible to dry myself with it.

Room was clean. Has A/C, but doesn’t really cool the room. Had to get a fan and open the window to be comfortable. Shower was a little small. If you’re a bigger person, you will probably have a hard time showering. The rooms are a little small too. Not much room to move around on sides of bed and in between chair/table. Staff was great and cleanliness. Those are main concerns for me, and they met the mark.

In general, our system is set to a maximum difference from the outside temperature (DIN EN 16798), in accordance with the recommendations of the German Federal Environment Agency, to avoid negative effects on our guests’ health. Unfortunately, when outside temperatures are unusually high, the system reaches its limits. It was a very nice and smooth stay. The personnel was nice and gentle, the room extra clean and spacious. The hotel is situated in a safe and quiet neighborhood. Aircon ok. We think that all the towels provided should be changed immediately as they are very old. The breakfast was ok. Beds not so comfortable.

We were able to check in early thanks to the nice employee that told us about the Accor membership. The room was nice and clean, beds were very comfortable and the walls, windows and doors seemed well insulated. We couldn't hear other guests' steps or voices, which had been a problem in other hotels. The room and bathroom were a bit small, but still we could manage well. It had everything we needed for our stay. The employees at the service desk were always friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet offered fresh food and a good variety of meals. However, I thought it was unfortunate that there were no vegan options or milk alternatives.
