I like that the room is spacious enough for all my things. Shower + Tub is a plus, would have been better if the shower was separated from the tub. Some days the drainage of sink / tub is a little slow. Breakfast served was good, however it is the same everyday and lacks variation - I stayed there for almost 2 weeks so the repetition of food was not good for me. I am happy that the hotel provided lotion, but only upon request - thank you for accommodating my request. I'm glad a gym is available, however it was a little small and I also did not had the time to utilize it. I had complimentary welcome drink too, which I could order anything available at the bar. Location wise was fairly good, just a bit of a walk for restaurants / groceries. All in all, a pleasant stay!

Nice hotel, quiet rooms, beds and pillows are very comfortable, in room safe, drinking water fountain on floor to refill, large selection of TV stations. AC struggled to get below 24 in summer. OK for business travellers as trams are just across the road- not great for family trip as no restaurants nearby. Breakfast is overpriced and no good cafe options nearby.

We stayed for 3 nights. The hotel was in a convenient location, the reception staff was very polite and helpful. Cleaning services could use improvement though. During our stay we were gone all day every day. Still our room was not cleaned one day because we were told they didnt have enough time. Also the bathroom was not cleaned daily, we were just given fresh towels once and the garbage was taken out.

Hotel was a great choice for our long weekend stay as a family of four. Staff is very friendly and the check in process was fast and very clear. We got very good explanations about the Basel Card and all the different discounts on it. Hotel room was good in size and perfect for our family of four with 2 adult and 2 teens. We did not try the daily breakfast offered by the hotel because we founded kind of expensive at almost 30CHF per person which is almost US$40 it is a lot of money. As alternative options for breakfast and overall any food/snacks/lunches/etc., we went daily to the Migros market inside the Basel train station which is fantastic! So many options for food and very affordable; we strongly recommend it. The location of this hotel is very convenient, there is one tram station just around the corner from the hotel and from there you can go anywhere. The check out process was a little weird since we are Accor members we had paid everything in advance and when we were going to do the check out I'm glad I asked for an invoice and to my surprise they were trying to charge to us for parking fees when we did not even have a car and then for several days of breakfast when we did not even have breakfast at the hotel, so we had to clarify all this with the front desk lady but she was very understanding and fixed this issue. Therefore, I advice you to always check your final invoice/bill before you depart the hotel to avoid any future wrong charges.
