I want to distinguish the exceptional service and professionalism of Leonardo (the staff member at the breakfast). I must say that all the staff members were friendly, organised and helpful, but the way Leonardo performs his duties is unique. The room 701 itself was rather small (especially for 3 people if they have to live there) and not well ventilated (as the window cannot be opened). The bed was squeaky, and the shower cabin was leaking a lot of water through the damaged sealings. I have addressed those remarks to the staff at the reception, and they took the initiative to report them. The lack of a fridge was a big disadvantage for me. Besides those inconveniences, my stay at the IBIS Budget hotel was great, and I am happy to report that I will be recommending this hotel to my friends and family members.

A well known brand, I have used many times but was disappointed to see such a poor room, small, minimal privacy and very basic fittings. In my view the budget brand ruins the Ibis brand

very good, staff spoke English (unfortunately I got lost finding the hotel as my phone died in the heat so had no map, and staff at Ibis Bahnhof only spoke to me in German, we managed but wasn't fluent), well appointed rooms, and a charger available - do note that Switzerland isn't the European charger

When I asked for a tea kettle the front desk woman said it was broken. Also there is no phone in the bedroom, I never had that before. Contact with front desk is important. Nobody could wake me up, and miraculously I woke up by myself ( I was so exhausted and afraid to miss the bus). When I went down to ask how to gt to the bus, the same large woman at the front desk told me to ask the guy who would be at the front desk at 3:30 am. She was not helpful at all. Very selfish and doesn't not know hw to help the customers. I have stayed in other Ibis around the world and this is the first time I encounter this type of front desk people. That is not good.

I asked for a quiet room and was given a room directly adjacent to rail and tram tracks. The noise all night was terrible and I could not sleep. The soundproofing is zero. Also, the sink in my bathroom was clogged and filled with water.

Had we been informed during your stay that the room was not suitable for you, we would have been happy to check whether a quieter room was available and arrange a room change whenever possible. Unfortunately, we did not receive any request or notification from your side, which meant we were unable to address the issue during your stay. We are also sorry to learn about the clogged sink. This is certainly not the standard we aim to provide. We will inform our technical team so that the issue can be checked and resolved promptly. Our maintenance staff is available during the daytime and would have been able to intervene had the problem been reported while you were with us. We sincerely regret that we were not given the opportunity to assist you during your stay. The room was quite noisy at night due to it being so close to the train station. Disappointed with an empty snack machine & not many nearby restaurants. Staff were helpful & polite & the rooms clean

Regarding the snack machine, we would like to mention that we have two vending machines available in the lobby. We do our best to keep them stocked at all times. However, when the hotel is fully booked for several days and many guests return at the same time, items can sell out quickly. As payments are made directly at the machines, it is unfortunately not always possible for our team to immediately notice when products need replenishing. Thank you again for your comments. Room layout is terrible, shower super small, lighting is awful especially the cool colored lighting, very few towels that are very worn out. The only good thing was breakfast.

Well located budget hotel. Basic amenities but that’s expected for the decent price. Staff were very helpful. Room looked clean but mattress smelled a little, and the shower you have to squeeze past the door so larger guests wouldn’t be able to use it.
