We are sorry to hear that the check-in process on 28 July did not go as smoothly as it should have. We apologize for the inconsistency regarding your room request. You had already confirmed a 3rd-floor room by email in advance, and this should have been prepared for your arrival. We regret the inconvenience this caused and that you had to show the email again at reception before the correct room was assigned. We have taken note of this and will use it to improve our internal communication between the reservation and front desk teams. At Ibis Budget Luzern City, we aim to provide friendly and reliable service. We are glad that the situation was eventually resolved and that you received the higher-floor room. Our hotel offers genuinely budget-friendly accommodation in Switzerland in a convenient location near the central train station, with bus number 4 stopping right at Brünigstrasse (only 50 meters from the entrance) and free city transit tickets included during your stay.
