The shower had plenty of space and the bed was very comfortable. The room was spacious and everything was easy to use. All the staff I spoke with on the reception desk over my stay were very friendly and helpful. I was able to leave my luggage in their secure storeroom for the rest of the day after checkout, which was really helpful.

The reason I pick the ibis is due to the location right next to the station. Which is great. However the rooms are looking very tired and the air-conditoning unit (which is needed as its so noisy outside you cant have the windows open) was so loud I found it hard to sleep. This hotel really needs a refurb, especially for the prices that are being charged. The staff were great as always.

Hotel was clean, bed was comfortable, airco was great, ventilation was good. TV has big screen but changing channels is very slow, the TV guide does not work, channels are mostly listed alphabetically, and it jumps back to the opening screen quite often. The one chair in the room is not comfortable. RCP parking places are way too narrow. So I parked at Churchill square red car park for 32 pounds per night, for 8 nights. That is a lot of money. It would be great if you could also have a deal with the red car park at Churchill square.

Great hotel, good prices, helpful staff. I only didn’t give a 9/10 because there was a problem with my room so I had to come back down with my suitcase and bags and get relocated. I can’t remember the reason, but this happened the time before this as well… I think it was something to do with part of the electrics not working.

.It might be my fault for having to book at 3 weeks notice. But this room on level -1 was not value for money. Barely daylight. Why put rooms underground? I didn't expect massive comfort, or to have to step up to the bathroom. Breakfast was ok and average, if unusual with no fried eggs and chorizo an addition. If cheaper might come back but above ground. also ID on getting in but had already checked in.

I stay here often as I come down south for work fairly frequently. I like the proximity to Brighton station, the helpfulness of the staff and the value for money, especially being a member. The rooms are very nice, the shower always works and there is air conditioning.
