well located stay, the room had all the necessary facilities, the staff was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this stay if the plan is to have a place just to sleep while exploring for majority of the day The only downside was the lack of a wardrobe or more hangers. The root was clean. Location is great! There is a super market nearby. The room was good, however I find it little small. The washrooms can be more private!

Breakfast was basic but plenty. Garage parking costs 25 for 24 hours, so we were able to enjoy the next day also Beds are comfortable. A/C was excellent!!! Funny little signs everywhere!

A small stool could be provided for a better toilet experience. The seats are too high to defecate comfortably. Also a way to cover the light switches at the head of the beds would be good because they are very bright at night and there is no way to turn the light coming from the switches off.

Check in was smooth, hotel/room is clean and well located close to the tram stop. However for the price, some basic additional amenities would be standard in other places i.e. mini refrigerator particularly given its the summer, kettle etc. The washroom was also crammed with the sink within the room (instead of the washroom itself).

The experience was ok, only short comings are no complementary water, coffee for the entire duration and kettle in the room.

We stayed in a family room which was very small. Shower is directly in the room so no privacy for changing after. Suited us for our 1 night stay but would not be keen to stay any longer.

ibis Budget Zurich City West as an excellent run hotel. The staff is very friendly and efficient. The rooms have the usual ibis Budget layout - which makes you feel at home. There is enough space for the luggage and the desk is very practical. The tram station is directly outside the hotel and you can easily reach the main train station, Bahnhofstrasse or lake from here. We will come again.

Overall rating: 0/10. The air conditioning was terrible. The room temperature was close to 40°C, and there was no ventilation. Of course, opening the window wasn’t an option because of the insects. It was a very bad experience, and I do not recommend this hotel at all.
