Seriously not a place I would like to stay with my family again. We were arriving from gstaad at 10pm and therefore checked in late. As gold Accor members we were given a room which was decent but nothing special. Reception staff was abrupt and defensive. I am so shocked to see that there is a blood stain also on the pillow and room therefore wasn’t made until very late or shall I say prepared as it’s fresh. Hygiene levels are atrocious. Never stayed at a Novotel but this is just a quick stay as flying out back home. Horrible horrible place and service!

Overall a good and enjoyable stay. Hotel is centrally located between train station, laundry, Christmas market, Super Market, bus stations ... etc. One ding to the experience is the toilet / shower design. The toilet is located separately from the shower n washroom. Have to walk few moments to get your hands wash after using the toilet. Will prefer a combined wet toilet / shower design. Room for Improvement: 1. Light was not working in room, took few reminders to get it fix. 2. We're a family of 3, some days we get 2 sets of towels instead of 3. And additional towel took a while to come for us to shower. There is a day where the towels were not changed even though they were in the bath tub. 3. House keeping was inflexible. Asked for 2 boxes of tissues, came with one. Told the housekeeping to bring additional box, was told have to inform reception for it.

This hotel chain never fails. Nice location, walking distance to everything, Geneva center, Cornavin station, Lake Geneva, Bains des Paquis and shopping areas. Comfortable beds, comfortable and clean rooms. Our room did not have a view, but is was worh the stay. Lots of choices for food and dining.
