We're 15 minutes' drive from Vuurtoren Westerlicht lighthouse and also from the aquarium on Neeltje Jans island. Active pursuits are plentiful, with Molenberg golf club just five minutes' walk away. High-octane activities like kite surfing and skydiving are also available in the area. Discover local history at the medieval Plompe Tower and the Watersnoodmuseum.

We're an hour's drive from both Rotterdam The Hague Airport and the ferry terminal for voyages from the UK. There's a bus stop 12 minutes' walk from our hotel, where you can pick up buses for Neeltje Jans island and the Watersnoodmuseum.

From a guest’s perspective, several important aspects were not clearly communicated during check-in. For example, we were not informed that it was necessary to reserve a specific time slot for breakfast. It was only on the second day, while we were already seated, that we were asked what time we planned to come for breakfast the following day. As we were a group of 6 adults and 2 children staying for 3 days, the atmosphere became increasingly uncomfortable from that moment on. It felt as though our presence and flexibility—simply coming and going according to our needs—was not appreciated. Traveling with an 11-month-old baby naturally means starting the day earlier, especially for breakfast, and then wanting to spend some relaxed time together as a family. However, we were told that once the second breakfast seating begins, we would need to leave the restaurant. This added unnecessary pressure and reduced the overall comfort of our stay. Additionally, we sometimes were no longer greeted upon entering the hotel and felt observed in a rather unfriendly or strict manner. City Tax was Charged Daily for a Baby of 11 Months and a 6 year old. Charging €15 per day for a baby cot does not feel family-friendly. As someone working in the same industry, I found that guest orientation and hospitality were lacking. Unfortunately, we often felt more like a burden than welcomed guests.

Pretensions that are not fulfilled. Handwritten collection is pure nonsense. Staff was not very helpfull. Check-in procedure took way to much time. Room was OK, Room temparature was way to low during the night. Chef's dinner could/should have more variety: only 1 warm course (out of 4)
