Our stay at Novotel Amsterdam City was nothing but comfortable. It is conveniently located and a short walk to a team station that takes you to the city. The amenities were to our liking and we would like to book here again when we are there next.

Travel here with my two girls had a great stay couldn't fault to place. It was my daughter's 11th birthday and we got balloons a little bag with some gifts in it and a voucher for the bar. Everything was so clean fresh beds and towels each morning and great location to the park and stations

Very nice room for the most part. Staff were very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. One big complaint: the lighting in the room was incredibly insufficient. All the lights were very dim, but bedside in particular was entirely inadequate, especially for bedtime reading (reading for an hour or two before retiring is my preferred way to end my day). The funny little LED lights next to the bed were both dim and cast their beams far too narrowly to be useful; in particular, it meant that I was constantly having to readjust the light or the spot where I was holding my book, and even at that ended up with a lot of eye strain. If I had been staying longer I would have actually gone out and purchased a proper lamp and brought it back to the room (and probably handed it over to the front desk on checkout with the request to make it available to anybody else who complained of suffering from the bad lighting). (And related to this, the room could have benefited from more electrical outlets.)
