We came to Canberra for a 3-day conference at a nearby venue - walking distance except when it was raining. The room was comfortable, with all we needed. The car park was nearby, but a little hard to access and depart from, especially after the power went out and the car park was very dark. However, the Mantra staff were very pleasant throughout and helped in every way they could.

Our Accor membership earned us a room upgrade, which we appreciated. The restaurant staff for dinner and breakfast were welcoming and helpful. Parking outside the hotel is challenging and costs $24 per day at the hotel. Beware: breakfast finishes at 9.30 during the week.

My wife and I had a two night stay to visit Floriade. The hotel was very comfortable and easily met our needs, with a good breakfast (not huge but covered all from hot and cold, breads, croissants, yoghurts, eggs to order, etc). Dinner was also nice. Parking is an extra charge but limited. Nearby streets have free overnight parking so not a major issue if full.

I had a lovely stay here. The girl at reception was really friendly and down-to-earth. The Macarthur Avenue tram stop is just a minute walk from the hotel. Was unsure whether you had to pay for daily housekeeping or not due to information provided on the key wallet but received housekeeping and had no extra charge so :) I always stay here and I’ll be back again soon!

Difficulties with payment and not real support from receptionist. Company tried to get in contact via phone and email, but no response at all. Parking has charged extra even within the period of my stay, when asked about the extra charge, receptionist wasn’t very keen to help and told me to figure out with parking company, giving the impression that was my fault their system didn’t register my entry properly (it would be good if the hotel had a more proactive approach calling the parking company while I was at the reception).
