Not happy that there was no butter for toast. Pay for breakfast and couldn't have anything as obviously don't restock each day. Not good enough.

I know this is a budget hotel, and we were just looking for something simple for overnight; but... here is what the photos (old photos) don'T. tell. 1. Large step up into a drop in module bathrrom, no toilet roll holders. Door opens out onto the bed. Sink is on the other side of the room, so cant wash hands etc in the module. Entire module gets wet when showering, so be prepared to wipe the toilet down before using it. If you are claustrophic..be prepared to leave the narrow door open to the module csuse it is very compact. 2. Parking, be prepared to have to pay to park on premises. Only $5.06 pn including the surcharge but 'security' is low. Looked like a permanent setup resident in the carpark. 3. Breakfast bar at $30 ph, is provided in a corner beside the check in. We did not eat there so cannot comment on what that money will buy you. Save yourself and go to the local cafes. 4. Stairs, no lift. If you can'T. get up a few flights of stairs then dont go here. 5. General cleanliness...poor. I made the mistake of looking at the mattress topper whilst hunting for an electric blanket. No electric blanket but the staining on the topper edge stopped me from looking further. Carpets only in common areas and were heavily stained. No carpet in rooms, hospital grade lino on floors in rooms. There was more to disappoint like a window that didnt open, air con that didnt work and generally feeling that this hotel is way past needing a refit. The checkin staff were good, and friendly. I have stayed in pubs, student accommodation, cheap bnbs..and those all were better. My take away... I'll never recommend or stay here again. I'll look elsewhere.

Regarding the windows, they are intentionally restricted from opening fully for guest safety and security reasons. We also apologize for the issue you experienced with the air conditioning. We would also like to clarify that we do not provide electric blankets as part of our standard room amenities, which helps us maintain our budget-friendly pricing structure. For guests with mobility concerns, our property description clearly states that there is no lift available and that access to upper-level rooms is via stairs. Similarly, parking charges are disclosed on our website and booking platforms, with parking currently available for a nominal daily fee. We would also like to clarify that our continental breakfast is priced at $13 per person, not $30. We appreciate your positive comments about our check-in staff, and we will be sure to pass your kind words on to the team. Fire alarm and drug addicts in the hall way
