I thought I had booked a room in advance via the Accor app and when I arrived close to midnight I was informed I had not and that the hotel was fully booked. Jeannie who was on duty was extreamly helpful. She was a real lifesaver. She really went above and beyond. Firstly she tried to find me another room in any neaby hotel/accomodation and when there was none, she called people who had booked rooms but had not checked in. I was so lucky that the first person she called was not planning to stay at Ibis even though he had booked a room and I was put in that room . I was nearly homeless that night, and I really want to give Jeannie 5 stars for all her help. She didn't need to help me, but her calmness, quick thinking and helpfulness was just amazing!

Arrived apprx 8.30, Reception was attended by a very helpful youg lady. She was curtious and friendly. The room was clean if not a bit small but since we were only sleeping there it was adequate. The bed was firm and from the pillows supplied we were able to find the ones that were to our likeing.

The hotel had a laidback, homey vibe. Staff was helpful and attentive, especially Darren. I was pleasantly surprised with how spacious and clean the room was, and how yummy the coffee and breakfast was in the morning--especially in the context of how much I paid. Exceeded expectations!

Very welcoming staff & clean environment. Good quiet location. But had a hard time trying to carry my luggages up the stairs. There was NO lift.
