Your team were great but it did not feel like a retreat. there were a lot of people and a lot of children. The retreat side did not deliver. It felt like just another hotel on the Palm. Whilst the gym and spa facilities were great nothing that you cant find another 5 star hotel. I guess the weekend was not the right time to come but its the only time I could make it. I expected more relaxing and more yoga and more retreat.

The pool is definitely one of the best things about this hotel. The rooms are okay, but nothing really special.
The food, however, needs a lot of improvement. For a five-star hotel, we expected much better taste and variety. Honestly, the food felt more like what you would expect from a two-star hotel.
The staff were helpful, friendly, and nice, which we really appreciated.
We booked this hotel mainly because we thought we could enjoy swimming at the beach during our stay. Unfortunately, this was very disappointing. The beach water was green and did not look clean at all—it looked more like a lake than a beach.
Overall, the pool and staff were great, but the food and beach condition really affected our experience.

We had such a wonderful stay celebrating my husband’s birthday! The hotel made it extra special with thoughtful gifts, a cake, and birthday greetings waiting in our room. The staff were incredibly warm and accommodating, especially the amazing manager at Vibe Restaurant inside the
Hotel, who went above and beyond to make every meal memorable.
We also loved the Kids Club, such a thoughtful idea for parents who don’t have a nanny and just need a little time to unwind in the beach or cafe while the kids have fun inside the Kuds club area. Overall, an amazing experience from start to finish. Highly recommended! ✨

Rooms were nice, but the bed metres was too sagging. When we requested an extra bed for my litter kid, we were told that a charge of AED 150 /night will apply. All hotels offer the extra bed for free, I do not understand why this hotel was not.

I cannot single out anything in particular. It was not just a stay but an experience and an excellent memory. I would like to complain about my room service.
The second room had a small bed, so I called Reception and requested a king-size bed. After about 20 minutes, housekeeping came to change the bed and clean the room, but the cleaning was not done properly.
I found hair inside the hairdryer drawer, and the bed linen was also a little small. I also requested a baby chair from Reception, but I did not get any response.
I request you to please look into these issues and improve the service.

First of all, I was searching for a room with a balcony where I would be able to smoke, but when I arrived, I was told that I was not allowed to do so, hovewer when I was booking the room, it was never specified that smoking on the balcony was not allowed. Well, the policy is the policy, and I had to go out to the designated smoking areas, which were under a plain sun without any umbrellas or even benches to sit on. There were no ashtrays even in these areas, which actually makes it not safe to smoke there, because you can't throw the finished cigarette in the plastic bag; it will burn the bag. Secondly, the personnel were quite rude when I came to the reception asking for a socket adapter. The receptionist said that there are "universal sockets in the room," and only after the 3rd time I repeated that these are not comfortable to use to work on the laptop, he finally gave me the adapter.
The working surface in the room is very uncomfortable. It's too high, and the shoulder muscles are getting stiff after 30 minutes of sitting. The glass surface of this "table" makes it impossible to use the mouse while working, which also makes it uncomfortable.
The food is awful. Not tasty at all. During dinner, you don't have any free drinking options except water (you are a 5-star hotel and still charge for a coffee or coke during dinner, come on). The variety of the food was very poor, and I had the worst mac and cheese in my life; it was very bad. The breakfast was a bit better, but still not far from the dinner. It was just unpleasant to eat at all, and I was suffering from severe heartburn after both dinner and breakfast.
Very poor experience. For the money paid, I would afford a better hotel ( prior to that, I stayed in another hotel which was 10$ cheaper and 10 times better than yours). Very disappointed.

I was particularly concerned by your comments regarding the smoking facilities. While smoking is not permitted on guest balconies in line with our resort policy, we do provide four designated smoking areas across the property. All are covered, equipped with seating, and feature fixed ashtrays. It appears you may not have been directed to the nearest location, and I apologize for any inconvenience caused.
I am also sorry to hear about your experience with our Reception team and the room workspace. Your comments have been shared with the relevant departments for review and improvement.
Regarding the dining experience, I regret that the quality, variety, and beverage options did not meet your expectations. We take such feedback seriously and have shared your observations with our culinary team.

We had a wonderful stay at The Retreat Palm Dubai MGallery by Sofitel. Everything exceeded my expectations. The hotel is beautiful, peaceful, and exceptionally clean. The staff were warm, professional, and always ready to help, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The room was spacious and comfortable and the outdoor pool and private beach made the stay very pleasant especially my son loved the kids pool . We will defo recommend this place
