Well located, clean comfortable rooms and dining/bar area, friendly helpful staff & great menu for dinner. Stayed for four nights. The staff were always friendly and helpful. The receptionist happily arranged a late checkout for us.

The female staff member at the information desk was extremely unhelpful and unprofessional. There were issues during both the check-in and check-out processes. At check-in, I was informed that breakfast was not included in my reservation, so I agreed to pay for breakfast separately and stated that I would only have breakfast on one of the two mornings of my stay. However, during check-out, I was charged for breakfast and the remaining balance. The amount seemed higher than expected, and when I asked about it, I was told that the charge included the city tax and breakfast. Before leaving the hotel, I checked my Accor reservation details myself because something did not seem right. I then discovered that both breakfasts for the two-night stay and the city tax had already been paid at the time of booking and were clearly shown on the invoice. Had I been properly informed at check-in that breakfast was already included, I would have enjoyed breakfast on both mornings. It was disappointing to miss out due to incorrect information provided by the staff. This experience also raised concerns about the professionalism and competence of the front desk team. Guests should not have to verify every charge themselves to understand what they are being billed for. The entire check-out process took far longer than necessary, and despite the inconvenience and the fact that I was rushing to get to the airport, not a single apology was offered. Overall, this was a frustrating experience that significantly affected an otherwise enjoyable stay.

As someone who travels regularly and has visited Budapest several times, I found this to be a great all-round hotel and excellent value for money. The location is convenient, with many of Budapest's popular attractions within walking distance, including the Ruin Bars and Karaván Street Food. If you prefer public transport, the nearest metro and bus stops are just a few minutes away. The room was clean, spacious and well-equipped, with thoughtful touches such as mini toiletries, shower caps and a hairdryer. One thing worth noting is that the standard rooms do not include a fridge or safe, although these are available in the apartment-style rooms. The hotel facilities were a real highlight, offering much more than you'd typically expect at this price point. The cinema room, gym, co-working spaces, social areas, bar and restaurant all contributed to a relaxed and enjoyable stay. Overall, a comfortable and well-rounded hotel that I would happily recommend to anyone visiting Budapest.

The hotel is very nice, clean and tidy, but it was very unpleasant that we couldn't check in early even though we arrived at the hotel at 12:00 and there were empty rooms, and that they charged 20 euros if we wanted to check in early.
