This hotel was literally 2 minutes walk from the metro stop, although there's several exits and it maybe necessary to cross the road if you choose the wrong exit. Our room was of reasonable size with a huge comfortable bed, a safe, fridge tea and coffee facilities. The bathroom was small and if we had been large people it may have been difficult to use especially getting in and out of the shower and bath, of which we had both, although the shower is over the bath and sort of round the corner which is difficult to describe but it would be difficult for larger or not very agile people. The breakfast room has a wonderful stain glass ceiling and the choices were extensive we got there early on the first day, a little later the second and later on the last although there was still 1 hour left the breakfast definitely wasn't stocked up as well or as quickly on this later visit. Don't bother getting a taxi from the airport buy a two way (if needed 1 way is available) on the 100E airport express and a single metro ticket will get you to the hotel in an hour for a fraction of the cost. This hotel was well positioned to use all the types of public transport which was fantastic, but buy a 24 or 72 hour pass and use all transport including the old Cog railway up to the Buda Hills, as they checked our ticket several times, it's so cheap and convenient.

Lovely hotel, staff very friendly and helpful. Room was well appointed , comfy bed. Breakfast plentiful and fresh. Hotel bar perfect for relaxing after busy day sightseeing. Didn't get chance to use the Spa, next time !

Beautiful building and great quality hotel. We enjoyed the breakfast and evening meal. Our room overlooked the beautiful inner courtyard so was very quiet. The staff were all very friendly and helpful especially those working in breakfast. Sofia on reception gave us tips on where to eat and the two ladies in the bar serving were helpful. Great location to explore the city as metro, tram and bus stops outside.
