Excellent Location , First 3 floors are renovated and good. So book for deluxe OR executive rooms . Overall stay was good

We visited Budapest during a very busy time as they celebrated the establishment of the country but managed to get a room at this hotel. The location of it was perfect for us. I stayed there with my daughter, and I have to say the room was very quiet, the bed comfortable and staff very polite and helpful. The only thing that bothered me a little bit was the cleanliness of the bathroom. It could have done with some attention. I hope they look into it. It would be a shame for them to get lower ratings because of a so easily sorted matter that's so important at the same time.

Well located nice hotel in Budapest

Novotel apparently bought a traditional hotel, Palace Hotel and connected with a newer half to make a big property. The interior of the former Palace Hotel was really nice (although my room was on the other side). The location of the hotel was very good, close to the city centre with a lot of public transport available. The breakfast was good. I had a couple of issues, especially a very strange situation that the internet connection was not possible only around my room for some unknown reasons, but I was later moved to a room 10 m away and the problem disappeared miraculously. The only thing I did not like is that one of the receptionists was busy with writing text messages with her mobile phone when my turn came, and I felt that it was more important for her to do so than dealing with the arriving guests. She could do that behind the wall, not in front of the guests waiting to be served.
