Reka was a very helpful and professional. And, another lady at the reception who had a shift from 6 PM on the 13th.... she has exceptional handwriting and interpersonal skills. Although I was unpleasant experience before her, she made another stay at J&J super duper delightful.

Not the best location, my key car would not work, needed resetting every time I went out of the room and my room mate was sick, never left his bed, made me feel uncomfortable to be there. The overnight security guard was also very sick, so when I had jet lag, I’d sit in the early hours of the morning downstairs and he would walk out, smoke, walk in and sneeze and blow his nose the whole time. Once again made me feel uncomfortable. So I needed up leaving and checking into the Mövenpick around the corner.

The place was really nice. We came an hour early before check in, the room was already done but we had to pay to get it and also pay to leave our luggage. There was a party promoted in the hostel on the rooftop, there were hanging flyers about it. But when we wanted to visit it they said it was en closed party which was weird, because why promote it? The room was not very clean, the floor was really sticky and the toilet smelled bad, but it was a nice room with all the facilities.

I didn't give it 10/10 because one of the nights of our stay there were security failures and a large group of people were sitting, drinking and partying at the door of our room. I had to get out of bed and confront them forcefully to make them leave. Otherwise, it was a magnificent stay. We'll definitely be back. There's still so much to see in Budapest, and we'll go again at Jo&Joe

I’m surprised this I part of the Accor portfolio. Staff are rude and uninterested, On several occasions they promised to get back to me regarding certain things but never did and the rooms are dark and depressing. I’m currently in week 10 of a 16 week European break and currently in Budapest staying in my 4th Accor property of my trip and Jo&Joe could learn a lot from the others

The curtains were not working the staff at the reception was a little rude before I raised a complaint on email they were cordial for the rest part of my stay. They didn't upgrade my room neither offered me a late check-out by default being an Accor gold member however upon my complaint of a non working curtain they upgraded me. Upon request and showing the t&c of accor gold they offered a late check-out. All stars for the location and the premises overall.. near and clean and a good property.. Special Appreciation for Bartender who always greeted whenever I came in or went out while the persons at the reception were less bothered.

We had a very pleasant stay at JO&JOE Budapest. The value for money is excellent, and the location is perfect for exploring the city. The design of both the rooms and the entire hotel is stylish, modern, and thoughtfully done. A real highlight is the rooftop bar, which has a great atmosphere and good music. We stayed in a private room with our own toilet and shower, which was comfortable and convenient. There are only a couple of minor points for improvement. The motion sensor light in the bathroom was quite annoying. Also, the ladies at the reception could be a bit more welcoming and motivated. The breakfast was sufficient and offered enough options to start the day. Overall, a great place to stay in Budapest, and we would definitely consider coming back.
