The curtains were not working the staff at the reception was a little rude before I raised a complaint on email they were cordial for the rest part of my stay. They didn't upgrade my room neither offered me a late check-out by default being an Accor gold member however upon my complaint of a non working curtain they upgraded me. Upon request and showing the t&c of accor gold they offered a late check-out. All stars for the location and the premises overall.. near and clean and a good property.. Special Appreciation for Bartender who always greeted whenever I came in or went out while the persons at the reception were less bothered.

We had a very pleasant stay at JO&JOE Budapest. The value for money is excellent, and the location is perfect for exploring the city. The design of both the rooms and the entire hotel is stylish, modern, and thoughtfully done. A real highlight is the rooftop bar, which has a great atmosphere and good music. We stayed in a private room with our own toilet and shower, which was comfortable and convenient. There are only a couple of minor points for improvement. The motion sensor light in the bathroom was quite annoying. Also, the ladies at the reception could be a bit more welcoming and motivated. The breakfast was sufficient and offered enough options to start the day. Overall, a great place to stay in Budapest, and we would definitely consider coming back.

I really liked it. It is very well located and easy to get in. The staff is very sympathetic. The cleaning of the room is okay, although bathroom and shower (which is super good, by the way) seemed a little off. The breakfast is super poor, so this is the only negative observation I have. Overall, it was super worthy.

The hotel has a nice and well-thought-out concept, with an overall idea that feels original and promising. Unfortunately, the actual experience didn’t quite live up to expectations. Being woken up at 7 a.m. by children running and shouting in the hallways—while their parents seemed to find it amusing instead of stepping in—is far from ideal if you’re looking for a bit of peace and quiet. On top of that, a fire alarm went off in the middle of the night for no apparent reason, which made the stay even more unpleasant. In short: great concept, but the overall guest experience and management need serious improvement.

An issue with the room initially allocated to me, then an unfortunate downgrade, swiftly compensated on my request by the hotel though. The room eventually allocated was just fine, the 2nd floor hallway felt really dark. Otherwise I liked the common areas on ground floor and top floor, despite the so-so weather that prevented clients enjoying outdoor area on the rooftop. Breakfast was affordable, but slightly repetitive too.

This place needs a better management. We have been waitng for someone to show up at the bar by the reception for over 10 min and a bartender didn’t know how to pour a beer. The rooftop was closed in its opening hours. At the breakfast personel was ‚cleaning’ crumbs at the buffet by hand. We had 2 beers at patio, when we came back 6 hours later our empty glasses were in the exact same place. In my opinion this place is understaffed or you have a very bad general manager. Rooms were nice and clean, we have no comments on that. There was a rooftop party on Friday night and as we were staying on 5th floor it was too loud to fall asleep. You should think of better acoustic insulation of the floor and/or ceiling.
