We were advised we would have turn down service and on first night it didn’t happen. Resulting in no fresh towels or water replenished. We went out early at 9am the next day and returned at 3pm expecting our room to have been cleaned with fresh towels and waters replaced. This was a false hope as once again nothing had changed. We had to go out and spoke with reception on way out explaining our disappointment. It felt we were given lip service and no real apology. We explained we wanted the room cleaned by 4:30pm as we were attending the concert. Fortunately it was ready when we returned. And we did have the turn down service that evening. Given that we paid over €800 for room only stay for 2 nights. I don’t think it was value for money at all. Also I couldn’t understand why the €200 was actually taken from my credit card and not just blocked as in most hotels. This has resulted in additional currency exchange charges. Based on all of the above, we would not return.
