The hotel is quite old but somehow okay. The employees are nice but not really efficient. The ac was not working at night in our room, we mentioned for two days to the front desk and they sent someone to fix it. Nothing changed, it was still not working…

We had a very enjoyable stay at the Sofitel downtown Cairo Nile. Our room was spacious, and the staff were extremely helpful. The bar was also welcoming. The concierge was extremely helpful. We would recommend working with him. We were not so fond of the restaurants either the Asian or the Egyptian. After being seated, we waited a long time for the waitress, and then the food came even later. It was not as good as the Sofitel restaurant should be.

I had a nice stay overall. The hotel is beautiful and very well located, the room was clean overall, but a few details could be improved.

This was a special trip which is why I booked at this hotel. However, very few taxis know it by its new name as it used to called the Conrad. This caused me some difficulty. The hotel is good but does need some refurbishment in the rooms.

Horrible experience. Management was not accommodating when we had to leave early and refused to offer any flexibility or refund. Very disappointing. However, they were making sure to get our room numbers when we left likely to use it for other customers.
