The service was impeccable, the room was just to our taste, the breakfast was excellent, and our two visits to the Oak restaurant were a real treat.
Also, the arrangements made by the concierge service was great. We had a fantastic day at the Pyramids and the GEM. Habnan, our French-speaking guide, was simply perfect.

Our stay at Sofitel was wonderful. We had a quite well maintained and very clean room. The staff from the front desk, to security and cleaning were excellent! Every restaurant we ate at was very good. If we come back to Cairo again, we will definitely stay at Sofitel

The hotel was too busy and almost 100% booking rate during my stay. With such circumstances, as a platinum member and opera suite resident, no complimentary was served in the suite.
With brand like Sofitel, this is first time to happen. This should be carefully assessed by the hotel management.
Reception front desk was heavily busy with only 3 desk available out of 4 during my checkout.

Large bath towels are not ready!!

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. On the positive side, the hotel itself is nice and the rooms are clean and well-maintained. However, the overall atmosphere in the lobby and common facilities fell short of expectations and could definitely use some improvement to feel more welcoming.
What really disappointed me happened during checkout. I was charged $20 from my security deposit for an international phone call made from my room—a call that I never made or authorized. It was unfortunate and frustrating to end my stay on such a negative note over an unfair charge.
