Every thing was good but the lighting system in the room wasn’t sufficient need to improve it ( room looking need more lights and the lighting control not smart no master switching)

Whilst the service and bedrooms were excellent, we encountered an unfortunate experience with our baby. The base of the baby cot provided by Fairmont in our bedroom collapsed with our baby in it. This was a shock to us and our baby. Fortunately our baby did not appear to be hurt, but the experience was very stressful. A wooden baby cot was provided and on inspection the baby cot base could easily be moved and lifted out and If pressured at an angle the base could fall out. The team managed the situation well and fixed the baby cot. Fairmont arranged for a doctor to check our baby was alright.
Whilst our rooms with a Nile view was very nice, our experience was somewhat dampened by boats on the Nile blasting out loud music at night. Can anything be done about noise isolation?

One of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. The staff were discriminatory and treated guests differently. Last Saturday morning, I was refused entry to the restaurant because I was wearing shorts, while just before me, another guest wearing shorts and a pajama-style shirt was allowed in. Very disappointing and unfair treatment.

Great stay, great room, great floor 20 with great views. Enjoyed a good sleep with large bathroom and more then enough space.
