The air is top quality (fresh and filtered), the temperature is excelent (not too cold not to hot), close to the entrance, ground floor. Amr was the best!!! Discrete and fast. Made excellent recomandations for me and my wife. La Mie (Firemont Nile City) is best choice for safe and tasty french food...all food if for my honest opinion.... Not too expensive too.

We were only there for three nights. Most comfortable bed ever. Hotel itself was beautiful, lovely Christmas decorations all around. The staff was exceptional. Our first morning, we were exploring and wanted to see the view from the Sky Terrace. When we got there, Abdelrahman showed us around, taking time to point out sites from the view and answering our many questions about the Cairo. The pool and space was fabulous, I just wish we would have had time to swim in the heated pool. Breakfast was divine. There were many choices and delicious local dishes, including other nationalities treats. The baked goods were to die for. We were all hooked on the pistachio croissant. Our waiter Bassam prepared a special plate of a favorite pastry of his, with pistachios and a sweet sauce. He treated us royally and was clearly proud of his work. The pastry is provided by La Mir, a French restaurant in the attached mall. We went for dinner our first night. It was so good, we returned for lunch our last day. We had excellent service from Amr, who was friendly and attentive. There were too many good experiences with staff to mention them all, but it was clear that they all enjoyed working at the Fairmont and seemed honored to be a part of their team.

LaMie Food was delicious and reasonable! Bread and butter, the best! Butter, just like grandma‘s on the farm. Mahmoud was an excellent server! Highly recommended.
