Love the view, was provided an upgrade to the Nile River view and it was amazing. The rooms are gorgeous, modern, classy and kept effortlessly clean. Laundry is perfect as well, very efficient! Everyone here was wonderful, will definitely choose to only stay here in Cairo!

1- The hotel security was improper as they refused to enter the taxi several times 2- My room was on the second floor, and there was a party and noise on Thursday below this floor, so I couldn't sleep 3- While I was waiting for the elevator to go up to my room, one of the hotel staff came and prevented me from using it, claiming that it was for priority It seems to me that some of the hotel staff are not well trained Thank you!

First we were a group of friends and I missed my flight from Sharm to Cairo. On arrival the next day, I was made to pay for the previous night. The gentleman that checked me in said "he was doing me a favor" by checking me in as I was a no show. I told him wrong choice of words as he wasn't doing me any favor. Also categorically said I was not a happy customer. The attitude and mannerism was nothing to write home about for a hotel of your status also coming from a 5 star facility in Sharm where everyone made my stay extremely pleasant.

I wasn't like that making reservation through booking ! It should be direct from the hotel itself,. It was so annoying that I had to book extension for a day more ... it should be solved by just a call to reception.

Smelly, smoky rooms, very average customer service

There is no enforcement of the no smoking rules, our room smelled of cigarette despite asking for a non smoking room, the hallways constantly smelled of cigarettes, people smoke even in no smoking areas and staff are not stopping them. Customer service is poor (sometimes you can get service at lounge, some other services with concierge or main reception. not consistent or aimed at positive customer experience). To get room service just for ice or soft drinks, we'd wait close to one hour and call several times for one service.

I had a great night at the hotel. Would have stayed longer but during my stay the pool was closed and I very much needed some pool & sun time. Got upgraded to the Gold Nile Suite and was in awe of how beautiful the suite was. Slept like a cat all so comfy. Breakfast in the Gold Lounge could have been better. It would have been great if the different items were labelled as there wasn't anyone there to tell you what you were eating. Service in the lounge was also on the slower side but overall very kind staff.

Noisy rooms due to guests and work, I can’t come back with my family and will not stay in the nile fairmont again although it was my favorite, because of the moroccan women staying there for very clear disrespectful reasons

I clearly asked while booking online for non smoking room and I got effectively a smoking smelly room ( it was changed after 1 hour waiting. Old furniture, not professional stuff. Being a platinum member had to wait for 1 hour to check in, tab in bathroom got jammed and couldn't switch off (flood in the toilet) booked the hotel through accordhotel but I didn't collect any fidelity points because they still have their own program. Extremly bad value for money. That's for sure not a 5 stars! Same experience with Fairmont Close to the airport few months ago.
