Last time we stayed here was about 5 years ago, this time we found that it has the same decor (getting kind of old), the breakfast was mediocre at best

There is ongoing constructions that prevented us from sleeping during my stay. The construction start early every day and continued until the evening. I had to change hotel after two days. Worst hotel experience ever.

We had food poison with the full signs of it and that was the worst ever In addition to this, the hotel manager approach was very bad, unexpected and not up to the level of luxury international behavior.

I loved this hotel. I cannot overstate this. The staff are all so lovely. I wanted to write a review naming the room service gentlemen but I lost the piece of paper with their names. From the front desk staff to the concierge to laundry to the porters they are all excellent. The property is beautiful, the views are amazing, the food is lovely and I could not find a flaw if I tried.

Excellent service. The hotel is also at a great location, directly on the Nile, with a beautiful view. The breakfast buffet was quite large, with many choices of food. We were upgraded to a suite with a Nile view, which was very nice. The hotel management was very attentive, and followed up with every request. They also arranged a complimentary transfer to the airport.

I booked a hotel room at Fairmont Nile City, Cairo for one night. Needed to extend one more night while I was away from the hotel. Tried chatting with the hotel, but they haven't responded. Called them directly at their phone number, and got transferred to front desk where I was kept on hold until the line disconnected. Done the call three times with no luck. Contacted Mr. Hameed at reservations and he assured extension was successful for one more night at a lower rate compared to my initial reservation. When I got to the hotel late at night they claimed the booking was cancelled, and charged me $770 for the exact same room that I got for $290! Knowing that I had no option since all my stuff was still in the room. Thanks,

Good evening first, I am Dr. Shimaa - E., not Salma -, Oda from a complete failure of the employees of the Fe - Nil - City Hotel unfortunately Second, I am a permanent guest in the Okoro group I am supposed to be distinguished by platinum member Unfortunately because of the employees' failure I did not have until now but the simplifying of my rights that I spoke to the general manager of the hotel has not been resolved and has responded in a more like manner, although I am distinguished by a position in the state and I have not used my position nor once in the management of my reservations with you, but I am surprised by the courtesy of my employees and by the abuse and abuse every time in the promotion work The special for the reservation and also placed my entire points, although I spoke repeatedly and repeatedly about these matters, and they are distinguished by the malicious nature of the demonstration during the stay as usual that they are solving the problem until the end of the stay. I clearly asked while booking online for non smoking room and I got effectively a smoking smelly room ( it was changed after 1 hour waiting. Old furniture, not professional stuff. Being a platinum member had to wait for 1 hour to check in, tab in bathroom got jammed and couldn't switch off (flood in the toilet) booked the hotel through accordhotel but I didn't collect any fidelity points because they still have their own program. Extremly bad value for money. That's for sure not a 5 stars! Same experience with Fairmont Close to the airport few months ago.
