⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A hotel that keeps getting better every time we stay We have stayed at Sofitel Cairo Nile El Gezirah several times, and after our last two stays, I really felt I had to share our experience. Our first stay was in June 2026, when we celebrated both our anniversary and my wife’s birthday. We booked a Nile View Room with Club Millésime access, and the entire experience was exceptional. The hotel surprised us with a complimentary cake for our anniversary, and the team at the Club made my wife’s birthday really special. Our personal butler, Yasser Eldessouky, was fantastic throughout the stay. He was attentive, genuinely helpful, and made us feel very well looked after without ever being intrusive. We enjoyed the stay so much that we came back again in September 2026, this time to celebrate my birthday, and once again booked the same room. Before our stay, my wife contacted Hend Tarek from the Club and asked her to make my birthday special. Hend and the team truly went above and beyond. They surprised me with an incredible birthday setup and cake, and it was honestly one of the nicest birthday surprises I have ever received from a hotel. Our personal butler for this stay at the club, Tamer El Sayed, was also excellent. He was extremely attentive, professional, and made sure everything was taken care of throughout our club visits. What I appreciate most about Sofitel Cairo El Gezirah is that the team doesn’t just provide good service; they pay attention to the reason behind your stay and make the occasion feel genuinely personal. We are regular ALL Accor guests, and having stayed at many Accor properties, I can honestly say that the level of service at this hotel is among the best I have experienced within the entire Accor group. What makes it even more impressive is the consistency. Two stays, three months apart, for two different celebrations, and both were genuinely memorable. A very special thank you to Yasser Eldessouky, Tamer El Sayed, and Hend Tarek for going the extra mile and making our celebrations so special. And thank you to the entire Sofitel Cairo El Gezirah team for the outstanding hospitality. We will definitely be back. Sofitel Cairo El Gezirah has become more than just a hotel for us; it has become one of our favourite places to celebrate our special moments.

Hi Frederic I am an Egyptian Australian that has a TMC in Australia. I got two australian friends working in the same field to come to visit Egypt and we all stayed at the beautiful Sofitel. The hotel is amazing and everything was pretty good. However I wanted to bring to your attention two very important comments that hopefully you would give them your attention. The service in the main restaurant and the in the terrace in the evening is really average specially when the waiters give more attention to Arab guests and ignore others for obvious reasons of course that we all know well. The hotel location is fabulous but the surroundings are awful and I was very embarrassed taking them out for a walk . I do believe that as a hotel you need to invest a bit to make the surroundings a bit clean and appropriate to the level of the hotel. I am giving you my personal opinion since I sell your property to my clients in Australia I really hope that you can give those two matters some attention Thank you again for everything and hopefully I get to see you in person next time when I am there Cheers Freddy

From check-in to check-out, it was an awesome stay. I misplaced some sunnies and had resigned myself to losing them, but on a whim I checked with security the day after and they had been found and turned in! The staff just wonderful.

Sofitel felt like heaven on earth. I have stayed in 5 Star hotels around the world but the staff at Sofitel made this my favourite stay ever. The food was incredible, ALL of the staff members were incredibly friendly and professional and the room was lovely. I will definitely be back. Special thanks to Ahmed at the restaurant for making it such a wonderful experience.

Room cleaning was really poor. On certain days my bed was barely made. The coffee mug was barely rinsed and you could still see the dirt at the bottom. On other days, no water bottle was given when they were supposed to give 4. Sometimes you would get 2 or 3 bottles. When I put bathrobe and towel down for changing, they just hang it back up on towel rack dirty. Very disappointing- I have been to better 3 star hotels than this.

the rooms are very outdated and they do not have the same shower products like the ones in asia, europe or australia (the balmain products) and the room was loud due to the nightclub downstairs and the boats on the Nile, however the service was absolutely outstanding, it was a great location and i enjoyed the pool.
