Our vacation in Cairo means Sofitel El Gezirah. We feel really at home. The first time was four years ago with my wife and our daughter, since then 2×year l. For me personally, as I was studying in Cairo, it has been my favorite hotel since 2006!

I am visited the hotel 2 times before and it became my destination with the hotel high quality and service . But this time due to eid holiday everything went wrong

It was a very bad experience. During the check in I was with my wife but I presented my passport only and they didn’t ask for hers. The day after and after midnight the duty manager called me and asked me to get my wife out from the room because I didn’t provide the passport the day before. I explained that my wife is a student in the university and I have sent the driver with her passport to pay the tuition fee and the registration, also I have presented to the duty manager her original ID and copy of her passport and still he refused to listen with an unacceptable attitude. So I straight away checked out and went to another hotel.. Never ever go back to Sofitel again

We regret to learn that the experience did not meet expectations. Following a review of the stay records, the reservation was made and checked in under a single occupancy. At the time of arrival, no request was made to add an additional occupant to the reservation, nor was information provided that another guest would be joining later. Subsequently, the presence of an additional occupant was alerted to the hotel team. In accordance with local regulations and hotel policies, all guests staying in the room must be registered, and the original passport is required to complete the registration process. Upon contact, only a copy of the passport was available at that time, which did not fulfill the registration requirements of local and tourism inquiries as well. The matter was addressed in line with the hotel's legal obligations and standard operating procedures, which are applied consistently to all guests. We truly appreciate your loyalty to Accor and for choosing Sofitel Cairo Nile El Gezirah for your previous stay, as we do hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back in the near future at your "home away from home" in Cairo, for a better experience meeting all of your expectations. I had an excellent stay at Sofitel Cairo Nile El Gezirah. The lobby is spacious and beautiful, with both indoor seating and a lovely outdoor area overlooking the Nile. The swimming pool is large and suitable for both adults and children, and the breakfast had a great variety of options. Special thanks to Shahd and Zekra for their outstanding hospitality and support throughout the stay. They were professional, welcoming, and always helpful. Highly recommended hotel in Cairo.
