Novotel Cairo Airport 4 stars

Hotel is ok, but as I could see a lot of Accor hotels in Egypt are old and need a renovations.

Good apart from a poor early breakfast with no falafel and only onions into the omlet. The server said all would be available in 30 min. Presumably when the rest of the staff turned up. Fantastic evening meal.

Hotel right next to the airport. Free shuttle service. Perfect for in transit guests.

Front desk staff Mohammed was rude and unfriendly. The other staff working March 19 11-12 pm weren’t polite or friendly as well. They shouldnot be working in the hospitality field. I made reservations and paid over 1 month before we arrived and was told to wait for my keys rudely while he attended to cash paying customers & gave the keys which looked like bribery. Mohammed lied when he said he has to keep checking for my room. We were polite and not aggressive at all but he kept attending to men who were paying at the counter. Mohammed has sour tone snd aggressive ness, and should not be working at the front desk or any hotel. However the kitchen staff and buffet was Excellent! Smiles and happy!

The evening Bar staff are the only good thing left. Booked pool view and was put way down the back with view of service area. Kettle broken, shower leaking, lights in bathroom not working. Room service QR not working. Before Covid this was a great hotel, I loved it, not anymore.
