The MUZE Hotel Duesseldorf Handwritten Collection is a jewel in the Rhine metropolis. True to the motto smaller, finer, more exclusive, the boutique hotel in Duesseldorf-Pempelfort combines playful elegance with the aesthetics of a modern mid-century interior. The 60 bright rooms are also cozy and modern. Arrive, feel good, you do not have to do more. Following an open gallery concept, works of art can be found throughout the hotel. A Voyage Within is the name of the permanent exhibition.

The heart of the hotel is the bar: an inspiring meeting place for design enthusiasts, business travelers, art lovers and creative minds who feel equally at home in the vibrant neighborhood in which our boutique hotel is located. Düsseldorf is a city that is easy to explore on foot. From our hotel, you can reach many sightseeing classics on a short walk: the old town, the banks of the Rhine, Königsallee, Little Tokyo, as well as famous museums and first-class restaurants.

The hotel is only a 15-minute drive from Düsseldorf Airport and a 10-minute walk from several subway and metro stations. Several bus lines stop in front of the hotel. The Düsseldorf convention center can be reached in 20 minutes by public transport.

I am delighted to have discovered this beautiful hotel and was sorry that I had only booked it for one night. I certainly hope to stay there again next time I visit Düsseldorf. I liked that there was a proper desk, rather than a standard hotel reception desk, and jt was a new experience to sit while checking in. Every member of staff I spoke to - four, I think - was friendly and helpful. I was able to leave my luggage both before checking in and after checking out, and I was reassured that the luggage room was only accessed by staff. I had booked a single room which was compact but large enough. The windows were wall-to-wall so the room was very light. Although the bed is described as "single" it was spacious, perhaps a large single or small double. It was comfortable and the pillows were very comfortable, a real treat. I was a little worried about being on the first floor at the front of the hotel. There wasn't much noise at all and it certainly didn't stop me sleeping soundly. In the room there was a coffee machine which could also be used to heat water for tea, coffee pods, teabags, a bottle of water and an apple which was a very welcome Welcome Gift. I was able to sign into my YouTube account on the television and enjoy my music. In the bathroom, unexpectedly, there was a heated toilet seat and a bidet, in addition to a heated towel rail and some interesting decor. Like the rest of the room, it felt cosy, comfortable and peaceful. The hotel was near a large shopping street, a large park and a lovely little cafe called Simply Bowl. As I write this review, I'm already looking forward to coming back to Düsseldorf and making MUZE a bigger part of that holiday.

Okay. Nothing special, the bar area is a waste of time. No lobby area to relax in away from your room Clean and comfortable room, bog and spacious. Staff friendly. If you are happy with not having an area to relax in outside of your room, this is the hotel for you.

Excellent room (suite) in terms of space, decoration, view, modern features. Great hotel location. And, just like last time (but different team), still very cold and unfriendly service at reception.
