The MUZE Hotel Duesseldorf Handwritten Collection is a jewel in the Rhine metropolis. True to the motto smaller, finer, more exclusive, the boutique hotel in Duesseldorf-Pempelfort combines playful elegance with the aesthetics of a modern mid-century interior. The 60 bright rooms are also cozy and modern. Arrive, feel good, you do not have to do more. Following an open gallery concept, works of art can be found throughout the hotel. A Voyage Within is the name of the permanent exhibition.

The heart of the hotel is the bar: an inspiring meeting place for design enthusiasts, business travelers, art lovers and creative minds who feel equally at home in the vibrant neighborhood in which our boutique hotel is located. Düsseldorf is a city that is easy to explore on foot. From our hotel, you can reach many sightseeing classics on a short walk: the old town, the banks of the Rhine, Königsallee, Little Tokyo, as well as famous museums and first-class restaurants.

The hotel is only a 15-minute drive from Düsseldorf Airport and a 10-minute walk from several subway and metro stations. Several bus lines stop in front of the hotel. The Düsseldorf convention center can be reached in 20 minutes by public transport.

We had a lovely short break in Düsseldorf to celebrate my partner's birthday. The hotel was a short walk from the city centre, via a lovely park, & there was a tram & bus stop near to the hotel. We stayed in a Deluxe room with a sky view which was great! The room was a good size with ample amenities & was cleaned to a good standard. We did have to ask for extra towels at one point as we weren't provided with the right amount after housekeeping. The breakfast had good choice & was fresh & tasty although the hot options were limited. The staff were friendly & pleasant although the male staff member who managed the breakfast service wasn't very welcoming & seemed quite angry.

This is my third stay at the hotel. On our first visit, we were accompanied by a group of friends, and everyone was very impressed with the quality of the rooms and the excellent location. We especially enjoy visiting Japanese Street in Düsseldorf, and the hotel’s close proximity makes it very convenient. I would also like to extend my sincere thanks to the General Manager, Mrs. Roxana Visan, for the thoughtful gesture of providing a small bottle of champagne as a welcome gift during our recent stay. We truly appreciated it!

Our stay was pleasant and satisfying, but there were a few things that should have been better. Firstly the refrigerator in the room didn’t cool but seemed to warm things up. Also the lights above the bed and shaving mirror didn’t work. So looks like the rooms are not checked careful enough. Another annoyance was that you cannot set the AC to cool the room and need to ask reception to switch on cooling each time. Lastly the very limited parking availability should be more clearly mentioned. So all in all it didn’t completely match expectations. Would however still consider booking a next time.
