The hotel reservations team were really helpful upon booking, the reception staff were friendly upon check in, the bar staff served well when we ordered beverages, the rooms were clean and well kept, as was the hotel public areas and restaurant / bar and to top it off the coffee was delicious!

I spent the weekend at this Novotel and the room was average at best. The USB ports on one side of the bed did not work, the area under the sofa had clearly not been vacuumed in months, and there was a stain on the bathroom door. As an ALL Platinum member, I was offered neither a room upgrade nor late check-out.

Good location, spacious room, cleaning level - below expectations. I have stayed in room 436. I did not have toilet paper when i ve checked in (ok, can happen). The carpet in the room was disgusting to say the least. Blood, stains, dusty - i think it was not been properly clean since years. The ceiling of the room, while being painted beautifully white, you can actually see the dust hanging on it - did you ever clean the ceiling? Again, sharing this openly as I don't think i have stayed in a dirtier Novotel/Accor property, which was dissapointing. As mentioned, i invite you to check room 436, i am sure the things i am highlighting here are still around. I just hope it s just one room problem, rather than the general expectations from this 4 stars hotel.

Breakfast stations are a chaos. You have to make your own pancakes and each takes 5 minutes. When people are paying fot breakfast, it doesnt mean they have to cook it themselves! There are options for cappuccino and other coffees but on the first day when we requested one, the hostess informed that they ate not available. Only when others were served we found out that indeed they are available. Rooms are not falling apart. Water pools in the shower. Toilet not cleaned properly, no complimentary water or even a working minibar. When people pay upwards of 1000€ a complimentary bottle of water is the least you can expect. The soap dispenser falls of the handle every 2 minutes. Whoever is managing this establishment is doing all they can to hide the flaws. And we wont be ever coming back here again.

Room was ok but far from perfect. Shower was pointing to the wall and could not be directed. Bath drain was stuck and could not be opened, ending up in a lot of water when using the shower. No wall socket near the bed, so charging of a phone needs to be done on the desk.

Second time in Düsseldorf, but first and not the last time, staying at Novotel Düsseldorf. Very nice and comfortable hotel, with huge parking slots, a very good, fresh and tasty variety of breakfast and large double-bed rooms, with everything you need for a pleasant stay.

Good hotel. I chose it primarily because of its excellent location and because the breakfast included organic eggs marked with "0" (free-range organic production). During my recent stay, I noticed that the eggs served at breakfast were marked with "2" (barn production) instead. As sustainability and animal welfare are important factors in my choice of accommodation, I will consider other hotel options for future stays.

Everything was fine in the check-in / check-out / stay. The elevators have some problems. The breakfast need at least one coffee machine. Location is good and very well served by public transport.
