as I told your front desk and assistent manager, and had your "housekeeping" department to clean the bath room on 153, you should be a shamed of your self. It looks like a hotel without management.

Great experience overall, the beds are comfy and give you a relaxed night's sleep. Only downside was the noise in the early hours of Sunday morning but that's really the only let down at this stay. Clean and bright, would certainly recommend the hotel. If you need a quiet night ask for a room not facing the main street.

Room was dirty and not pleasant to stay in. Area was not as described and the food available from the bar restaurant was disgusting. Will give a mention to reception staff who were lovely and accommodating - gave no faults with them and their service.

Staff was very good and friendly, however rooms are aged, and in addition my room 455 had a horrible smell like sewage (Abwasser). It is so strong that i needed to sleep with the window open. A very disgusting experience for a "suite". If I werent in business but for pleasure I would have change the room and even hotel.

I was expecting a better service and maintenance from a 4 star hotel. Dust all over the stair case, elevator has been shaky and horrible. Check-in experience can be better considering that I have been a loyal customer since 2017 and a silver card member.

We booked 2 rooms. 1 room we got right away, but another room we have to wait until 16-17.00 Water was off and on. And next Day, Only cold water. So no showers.

On room photos a 2 level suite was advertised, we asked for 2 level suite additionally while booking. Received a 1 level suite with claim that there are no 2 level suits in hotel (while from photos on website and from other visitors photos they are there in highest category which I booked.) To get to the suits one should go via a cold parking lot every time, to go to breakfast as well. Room itself did not have the fresh fruits, bathrobes, no bath (even room of class below has one) as specifically described in room description: "VIP bathroom including bathrobes, drinks from the minibar and coffee and tea facilities plus a complimentary newspaper in the room. WIFI, late check-out and fresh fruit also included." Now the worst part is that when going to sleep 2 dirty napkins were identified in the bed, 1 under a pillow 1 between beds. Napkins are not of the type used in room so are from previous visitor. We did not have the will or time to raise it at 3AM on 31 of December - but this is a serious housekeeping issue. We are staying a lot in hotels for work and leisure in many countries and it's quite a bit over the edge. Even 2* Ibis budget did not have such flaws. Other then these flaws breakfast was good and overall the room and facilities were fine.

Overall was ok, but we have called the facility to inform that we will come with a child and if it will be possible to get a child bed, the employee said that wold not be a problem and have sent the link for payment. When arriving at the hotel we found out that it was not noted that we will stay with a child and we were informed that there are no baby beds. But after 1 hour a baby bed was brought to our room.

One of the best mercure hotels that I have ever stayed. The personnel were very professional and friendly. The breakfast was great with fresh orange juice and nice German breads.

Location is very good.Just 5 minutes walk to central train station and 10 minutes walk to komigsallee and altstadt.
