Photos dont match the reality

The photos on the website don't correspond to reality, especially the reception photos. Cleanliness, dirty corridors, the floor of the room under the beds was extremely dirty. The curtain had holes in it. In the bathroom there were broken things, like the shower holder. Weak breakfast and no more croissants after 9am. The only positive point was the dinner.

We stopped for one night on our way from Spain to Germany, hoping our family could rest and enjoy a good breakfast before the second day of driving. We received two rooms with a nice discount, but they were on separate floors, even though we had requested in the comments that the rooms be close to each other. It seems no one took the time to read the notes on the reservation. I asked the receptionist, and she changed one of the rooms so we could be on the same floor. However, the new room had mattresses that were as hard as a rock, and my daughter complained the next day that she couldn’t sleep well. The rooms were clean and had air conditioning, but I couldn’t leave it on while lying in bed because it was directed right at the bed, and since the room was small, it became uncomfortable. It might have been better if the AC unit was positioned above the entrance door. The breakfast was disappointing: there was a single plate with four slices of ham cut into small pieces to make it look like more, three types of cheese, two types of butter, bread, baguettes, and some pastries. There were no eggs of any kind. The orange juice bottle was empty, and when I asked the staff for more, they brought me a basket of oranges and a small hand juicer. The coffee machine only provided hot water to be used with instant coffee bags, and the milk was separate. The tables were set outside in the garden, which was nice. I only gave a 7 due to the AC positioning, the hard mattresses in the second room, and the lack of eggs and proper coffee, which every driver needs to start a good day of driving. The positives were the cleanliness, quietness, and free, safe parking with a closing fence and gate.

Excellent location, friendly staff, but vibe is lacking

This was our sixth stay in this hotel and restaurant. We always kept returning to this place because of the excellent location, friendly reception and good value for money. However, this year we were disappointed by many small things: very few coffee/tea bags in room, only one thin towel, poorly functioning air conditioning, dirty floor. Also the restaurant , while still quite good, appeared less creative. We wonder if management has changed?
