My stay at the Ibis Hotel in Villefranche-sur-Saône was pleasant and convenient. One of the biggest advantages of this hotel is its proximity to the highway. Located right next to the autoroute, it’s perfect for travelers looking for easy access without the hassle of long detours. Surprisingly, despite being so close, there was absolutely no noise from the traffic, making it a peaceful place to rest. The staff here were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, always ready to assist with a smile. From the reception to the restaurant, the team went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. It’s this kind of warm service that really makes a difference when traveling. The hotel itself is clean and well-maintained, offering the essential comforts at a reasonable price. The room was dark, cramped, had multiple bugs. The dinner in the restaurant was burnt and the waitress shared her unrequested opinion. The breakfast was dreadful, there was no cutlery, no juice, no plates and overall hugely disappointing
