We were disappointed not to be warned that there were maintenance being carried out. We were given a third floor room with no lift in operation. We are both over 70 and though help with bags was offered it was extremely inconvenient. Room was small and in need of upgrade. We were told breakfast was 6.30 - 10am. We arrived at 9.20 to find no fruit available and a minimal selection of other things with the exception of bread and croissants. The water dispenser was broken so we were not even able to fill our water bottles for the journey. In total we paid E89.85 for the room which was poor value compared to the next night at Ibis St Omer where we paid E94.05 for a fabulous stay and overall experience. How can there be so much variation in quality. Ibis Villefranche is definitely off our places to stay while Ibis St Omer is, most definitely on it.

Je comprends votre frustration suite à votre expérience dans notre hôtel qui n'a malheureusement pas répondu à vos attentes. Concernant les travaux de rénovation de l'ascenseur du 13 Janvier au 14 Février, il y avait un mot sur toutes les plateformes de réservation et notamment sur Accor dans la description de l'hôtel. Nous regrettons néanmoins que la chambre ne vous ai pas convenu et de n'avoir pas su vous placer à un étage plus bas. Nous regrettons que le petit déjeuner ne vous ai pas convenu en terme de quantité, nous ferons remonter l'information au personnel. Concernant le distributeur d'eau, avez-vous essayé de demander des informations ou de l'aide au réceptionniste présent? Nous espérons que nous pourrons vous accueillir lors d'un prochain séjour et mieux vous satisfaire. Bien cordialement Célia

Close t. autoroute but not worth the extra cost over a Campanile

Carpet in room looked very dirty, but in daylight suspect it was the pattern. Bed very hot due t. plastic covering on mattress. Room had peculiar smell. Disappointed that there was no tea/coffee making facilities in room.
