We booked a superior room with twin beds and a privilege room with a king bed. The twin bed room had no door to the bathroom and the privilege room was a collection of furniture, not properly designed and not as per the photos. The carpets in the corridors were badly stained and ruched. We are at the restaurant and they literally only had reheated veg lasagne (2 portions) and pasta with ham and grated cheese (2 portions). The waiter was entirely distracted by other staff. It was a very odd experience.

Hotel needs a complete renovation. WC was dirty, reported to reception to clean and never happened in a two nights stay. Not a 4 stars hotel.

To my surprise the quality of this Mercure hotel is well below that of an Ibis Styles. The air was very unpleasant. Not only very dry but with a bad chemical smell. We could not stop the heating which didn’t help. The bathroom on the other end was very good. The breakfast and the restaurant were just ok. All in all disappointed and a bad publicity for Mercure as I’ll avoid this chain in the future.

We take note concerning the perfume in the rooms. Concerning the breakfast, maybe you didn't find the sweet aisle, it is in front of the main buffet for salty and fresh items. Personnel pas très orienté service aux clients avec un petit déjeuner décevant Bacon, saucisses et croissants pas cuit, climatisation qui ne fonctionne pas
